About half way through SoS p2 now, and SWEET JESUS! I'm happy but also angry and mostly confused (emotionally -- not about what's going on). I must say I'm surprised though. I didn't expect that; not so suddenly.

Been there and done that :rant:

Sadly, while still a great game, its a victim of its own success. Because it was so influential you can get pretty much the same product on a few newer games with better graphics. I was also going to buy an expansion pack for Perfect Dark (I maintain its better than Goldeneye to the shock of the countless hordes ive defeated on Goldeneye ;) )but it turns out its on xbox live arcade and ive read reviews that say its exactly the same. No point me buying an expansion pack as Ive never really been arsed about Majoras mask.

Ive currently just finished all the kid quests on Zelda and am on my way to the castle to grow up. Genuinly cant wait.

A social life you say? Never heard of it :)

So, it turns out that the girl I mentioned earlier is a violinist for a local folk and sung poetry band. So I actually did meet her before. Huh. Also went to the same primary music school.
Now, it remains to be seen if anything ever comes out of this, but hell, I feel kinda good about all that.
It is not the critic who counts; not the man who points out how the strong man stumbles, or where the doer of deeds could have done them better. The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena, whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood, who strives valiantly; who errs and comes short again and again; because there is not effort without error and shortcomings; but who does actually strive to do the deed; who knows the great enthusiasm, the great devotion, who spends himself in a worthy cause, who at the best knows in the end the triumph of high achievement and who at the worst, if he fails, at least he fails while daring greatly. So that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who know neither victory nor defeat.

I'm happy because SOMEONE got to second base yesterday with Lex and SOMEONE has a second date this Saturday! :(

And it was a good day all around yesterday. Had a Japanese seminar pretty early, but Lex was there and we hung out afterwards. Got lunch, snuggled up on a bench and then again on the front lawn of a church. And lip-locking all the while. I think the longest one was 13 seconds... :(

Well, he needs reference, doesn't he? And hell, nothing should be capable of making him feel bad after this. In any case, aim for multitudes of minutes, not seconds, AIJ! Also try a less public space.

Haha it wasn't making out, if it had been then yes, that time would've been rather short. We just exchanged saliva a lot :p And we haven't been going out that long, so yeah.
