My scales at my house are COMPLETELY misaligned. I had a doc's visit this morning and to prep for a blood test on Wednesday I weighed myself, and according to their scales I'm 81 kilos fully clothed, so about 80, 80.5 kg. That's about 12 stone 8, 9 pounds or so. My scales tell me I'm 13 stone 3. I AM THE THINNEST

E: Also finding out that some of the phone hacking lawsuits from the less well off victims are being funded by Max Moseley is a most delicious revenge. It does only partially compensate for finding out that when Gordon Brown was hacked and his infant son's cystic fibrosis discovered only very shortly after it was diagnosed and before they had even a chance of beginning to accept it, Rebekah Brooks (not Brookes, Brooks, as in crooks) rang him personally to tell him they knew and then published it, and the thought of her being fired arrested and imprisoned like the walking criminal pile of shit she is, well, that's making me feel, oh, slightly better.

Just discovered the World's Greatest Video Store - not only does it have a lovely range of Sean Bean movies but it also has an awesome selection of games - old and new. And since it only cost $4 to rent two games for a week I figure I won't go bored for some time. Borrowed FEAR and Dead Space out since I haven't actually got around to playing them yet. Next week I shall get FEAR 3 and Brink, I think. My inner gamer is squealing with delight ;)

My old roommate got it. It LOOKS fun, but it's a mixture of CoD-level players in a TF2 environment. It can be a blast.

But all too commonly breaks down into a goddamned hell, when someone mines the major exit to your base AND NOBODY HAS THE SENSE TO CLEAR THEM. Or any of another million annoying things. It requires too much cooperation to be fun, at least for me.

I didn't have any major issues like that with brink... it was just annoying on some levels when nubs wanted to tdm instead of doing the objectives

Had Lex over to mine for the day ;) We walked, talked, played Xbox, went to the bakery, watched Scott Pilgrim and in one memorable incident broke into someone's backyard (twice!) I honestly thought we wouldn't have much time, I live foreveraway from her, but it was a really good day.
