It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Its my sister's 14th birthday party, and in oh, two hours I get to scare the crap out of the First Boyfriend Invited To The House :(

That and generally laugh as my father and stepmother's house is swarmed by thirty 14 year olds. I'm on camera duty - HA!

You are the luckiest man alive, baudin. That line-up is ridiculously awesome. I'm seriously contemplating flying over to England and murdering you for those tickets. :(

Is Anomander's sister still in England next week? Ooooohh! You're going to steal her away to that weird, religious cult of yours!

I have some idea. Darwin during the dry season - great! The other 7 months of the year - not so great. Especially around late September to late November, which is known as "The Buildup". So ghastly hot and sticky you want to neck yourself, but no rain and therefore no relief. When it finally does rain people dance around in it - surreal.

I just watched the Katy Perry Hot n Cold video clip. Dayum, she is one FINE woman, that Russell Brand is one lucky bastard. Plus she does catchy tunes and seems to have a good sense of humour.

Now if she could only get together with Zooey Deschanel and video it ... :) ("... she kissed a girl and I watched it ...")

Done with jury duty thank God.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....
