My nan's house finally sold after 2 years on the market which means I will be receiving my inheritence in 1-2 months!!! This is such a huge relief for all involved. Some main usages for the money will be:

1. Paying off loans for school
2. Taking a trip this summer
3. Probably buy a new TV (boys and their toys...)
4. Music lessons for guitar

I'm so stoked!
And so the First denied their Mother,
in their fury, and so were cast out,
doomed children of Mother Dark.

There's something very wrong totally freaking awesome with undergrad when I'm in the position of giving myself a two day week...in second year no less.

LOWLANDS LLAUNCH party!!! Drunk, danced my ass off, saw a load of bands I didn;t know, and had an awesome time in general. Only thing missing is a make-out and sex session, but since most of the girls looked like they were 16, I thought I'd better not press my luck and end up a paedophile (even with consent).

Besides, I'm already chasing a girl who's relationship material.

Anyways what is now making me happy is that I just bought myself my first car. And it's not just a slightly oversized shoe on wheels like Broods, oh no! Vauxhall Astra 1.6, and it handles marvellously. And because I am now over 25 I got a pretty sweet deal on insurance too! Safe!

I bet it's purple :)

Today is a wonderful day of food... breakfast was bacon sarnies, made carrot and coriander soup for lunch, just finished baking chocolate brownies which are the most delicious ever, and for dinner I'll be cooking duck with noodles and plum sauce. Basically the perfect food day.

Russel Peters for the win. The $34.50 handbag sketch-thingy is a side-splitter.

I just watched the "I Love the Whole World" video from the Discovery Channel and it never fails to put a grin on my face. I LOVE THE WOLRD!

I finally finally was able to find a flight to Bristol in April (to see my bf) at under $1000 and when I asked my boss for the extra day of vacation so as to be able to profit from this miraculous find...she said yes! Posted Image So my vacation is set, my flight is booked, now all I have to do is find someone who'd be willing to look after my cat for a week.

They might but there's no guarantee that I'd get him back...at all. Or alive. Or in one piece and not stir fried and served on sticky rice. :D

Sounds tasty :D

I have a beautiful freshly baked loaf of bread, and it's all mine, until my girlfriend gets home at least. I can eat the whole thing in 4 hours, I reckon. Happy :D

Booked this years birthday holiday. For the turn of my 30th year, I'm going to be in Brussels. Yay!! The pact to never be in my home country for my birthday is still going well.

And she's not even top of the list of relatives I don't want to see! And I wish it was for some sort of emo teen angsty reason.

Oooh, 2 job interviews lined up for next month. Nothing to do with poo this time, which is a relief. One is a nice safe hospital clinical research post and the other is for some mystery global corporation with huge interests in bioterrorism research. Now I'm hoping that it is something to do with bioterrorism response or detection rather than bioterrorising some poor natives! Still, one step closer to ruling the world, right?

Also, argh I hate interviews *parp*

You should chat to Loki. Her world-domination plans are well advanced, and I'm sure she'd be willing to fit you guys into the picture...
