lol Audible just gave me yet another three months for $0.99 / month.

Just as I'm about halfway through The Book That Held Her Heart---after having gotten the trilogy with my monthly credits from the previous three months of $0.99/month.

Apparently we’re into a generation in the US that has no idea what Craigslist is.

My sil and her boyfriend were having trouble finding a place to rent, they’d been looking on Zillow and FB Marketplace. I asked if they’d looked on Craigslist, and you’d think I had miniature lobsters crawling out of my ears.

A week later and they signed a lease on a great place I sent them off Craigslist.

It's less lack of awareness of what Craigslist is, and more the connotation that Craigslist is sketchy & scammy

Did you, in fact, have miniature lobsters crawling out of your ears?

Ankle is improving, follow up ekg was normal. Headed to Oregon for a five night camping trip in a few days. I think I randomly saw Hoosierdaddy posting on Reddit. How many Hoosier daddy’s can there be?

Taking my daughter to his very first concert tonight (BLACKPINK)! So excited. I got her the best earplugs (Loop; Engage Kids) to make sure the sound doesn't hurt her ears, and told her I'd buy her merchandise (the prices are $$$ but it's her first experience). She's made an outfit to dress up in too.

Hope she has a wonderful time!

Also, can't recommend Loops enough - Mr NAB and I both have the adult concert ones (I have the everyday quiet ones too) and they've successfully stood up to Iron Maiden and Bruce Springsteen with no ear ringing afterwards :)

Yeah, I wore mine (which I think I bought on your recco a few years back?) the Loop Quiet ones to Coldplay at the same venue and they worked like a charm, no ringing either!

I've got a little baby boy! Currently both simultaneously very happy and very tired.

Caladan was ruled out of the name choices so he's called Rowan Ashwin.

She loved it (Well, we both loved it really), and I've NEVER seen her like that before. She was practically vibrating through the floor and dancing her little heart out all night! Such. great outing. If you're a parent wondering if age 9 is too young to see a big concert, it's not, she's been buzzing for the last two days.

great that you both enjoyed. Did she have to whip out a big sword and slay any demons at any point?

AR/VR concerts can/will make that happen.

Of course the swords flow through demon flesh so cleanly that no tactile element is required... it's as if the demons were air(y vacuums...).

Thank Hood the heatwave finally broke this morning.

2+ weeks of 95+ weather with high humidity. Heat index over 110.

It was rough.

Gonna cool off just in time for Vacation. Sit on a beach in Michigan for a few days enjoying adult beverages while the crotch goblins play in the lake.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
