What have the stolen so far?
Multiple sandals and the occasional shoe. They seem way more interested in rambling all around than stealing anything specific because they have an attention span of maybe 5 seconds. The only exception is if they're chewing something big - like my ankles.
If it wasn't for the "must take them outside for bathroom every 1.5-2 hours" thing, I would consider them great, if extremely silly guests. They're cheerful, ready to explore, and definitely a benevolent if occasionally yappy presence.

Another update - my dog Emma has become much more comfortable with the puppies. The other dog, Yeti, is still not wanting to be around them much.
They're going to their next place on Sunday, so life will be a little less complicated and a bit less joyful.

You jest, yet I think it's possible in the next couple years. My wife's cousins are in London. I can likely get her to agree to a quick jump elsewhere close by for a day.

Isle of Man is a bit of a faff haha but I'm sure a Manchester meetup could be arranged.

If I'm headed across an ocean, visiting an Isle is like walking to the next aisle and doesn't mean the family gets left behind either.

Today I took part in the annual Parish Walk in the Isle of Man, which hits all parishes across the Island and is an 85 Mike long road walk over 24 hours.
I did not finish all of it as the people who do are race walkers or those who have a LOT more time to train and prepare than I did! I got to a small city called Peel which is generally the cutoff point for people taking it slightly more casually.
Still, it's 32.5 miles up and down mountains etc and I did it in 9 hours so it was a decent time IMO.
I have some hideous blisters on my feet but otherwise I feel good! Raised a few hundred quid for an excellent charity too.

Unseasonably chilly out today, so I could comfortably wear my bulletproof hoodie and my P100 mask (without any need for cooling gear). Took a walk around the city. Wide variety of foliage and luminous flowers. Live music at two different parks, one to the northeast, the other to the southwest.
The vest inside the hoodie makes it look like I have a jutting angular gut, but I realized I can smooth it out by putting my hands in my pockets. Maybe some objects to weight it down (though the pockets aren't deep and don't zip so I wouldn't want to put anything valuable in them).

A nice, cool summer day to enjoy before the insane heat of next week.
Wife and kids are out of town, I’ve been sitting on the front porch reading Song of Susannah and drinking Vodoo Rangers all afternoon.
Glorious.

Always a possibility. Impromptu get together over the Platty Joobs as Dag over from Vienna visiting Stonemonkey - with Brood and his brood joining too it was most civilised even though just one table at Altrincham Market Hall. We are definitely open to future gatherings wit reasonable notice.
