If he were nice about it he would get a new bottle and leave it in the glovebox with a ribbon and a kind note. Maybe some condoms.

...wait, hey BK are there already condoms in the glovebox?

What was going to be a potentially hellish week in April has turned into something rather exciting. Both my solicitors are off that week and there's nothing worse for me than scrabbling for work, so I'd been toying with booking it off regardless. Anyway, boyfriend may not be a blacksmith but he is a hill walker.... short version, we're off to the Lakes for a few days to (amongst other walks) climb Scafell Pike :)

I never approved anything though! You can't pin anything on me!

This is true. There was blacksmith-related disgruntlement and lack of approval!

So very chuffed about the SB results. Only muh Steelers (and those cheating fucks, fuck them cheaters) have a ring for the other hand. That is rare air territory reserved for only the best (and cheating fucks).

Hamilton is gonna be a movie!

I can’t win the ticket lottery and I can’t afford to see it so this is great!

I have actually been wondering why it’s so hard to get videos of the broadway plays. I understand exclusivity for a time but surely the movie/ dvd profits would outway the ticket profits at some point

Flying squirrels are nimble little fuckers. Almost got my head taken clean off.. rounded the corner of my house directly in the descent path of one of these cute little fuckers and it was so fast I had no reaction speed whatsoever. Plus my ambien was doing nifty things at the time but I happened to be looking straight ahead when the tv light highlighted it through the window milliseconds before impact and this guy just arced around me. I felt it's cute little furry body brush my right cheek and ear and I just kept on walking to my fire.

Budget. A professional 'Hollywood Big Theater' quality video of a Broadway play (or any professional stage show, really) costs massive bucks to get 'right'.

Check out the vids of Phantom or Les Mis and you see how much work it takes to get it right.

In contrast have a look at the multitudes of Cirque Du Soleil vids out there and you can see which got the big bucks treatment and which are simply to keep the set complete.

Can't sleep. The link in Cause' Malazan Yank thread to the Chicago meet got me looking through UK BBQ and Manky Meetup threads. Good times, my cheeks hurt from looking at all the pics with me grinning so much. Such a good bunch of people, I really love this forum. Maybe some of my old muckers will come back one day. Gosh, it seems I really like a drink too, right?

Valentine's Day is a completely made up day by greeting's card companies. Don't believe the hype. Boycot boycot boycot.
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

A day for lovers is nice. You don't have to fall into the commercial trappings. A day in, cooking a nice dinner and enjoying movies is a lovely way to spend some quality time.

Pro-Tip: If you want to have a romantic dinner at that popular restaurant, be sure to secure reservations well in advance, otherwise you're out of luck. Posted Image

Go any other night and actually enjoy yourself.

Fixed for accuracy.

Exactly that. Extortion and money-grabbing, this whole Valentine's Day business. If you really love someone, spare them the horror and just do something nice on a day that is actually meaningful to the both of you, not one that is pushed down your throats by cynical marketeers looking to make a profit on relationships.
