Now that JNCOs are discontinued, they're probably worth a fortune! (In Faygo and glowsticks).
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Did you?
Making me happy today - I went swimming last night (start as you mean to go on...) - bearing in mind with everything I've done NO fitness work at all this year. I swam about 250m in fifteen minutes and because psychologically ten lengths doesn't feel like a lot I was thinking I'd really lost a lot of fitness and was a bit disheartened.
When someone expressed surprise I went and looked into it further. Found a blog of a few people doing a structured program to work up to swimming 1km.... they only hit 500m six weeks in, swimming twice a week.
I do not have a fitness problem. I possibly have a death wish!

Killed one of the player characters in D&D (they came back after the fight). Literally took them down on one attack with a boss character and then the multiattack critted. Did more than their HP max in one go.

At my cousin's wedding. And they got their dog to carry the rings in.
Then she ran around the church getting petted by everyone after. Then was made sit down for the end bit. Didn't look happy about it

I do so love looking at the Weather Channel app in Sept/Oct and see the highs slowly start to lower as you scroll through upcoming weeks.
Complete opposite feeling in Mar/Apr as they begin to rise.
Hoping for another spectularly cold fall and winter like this past was.

Thank goodness! I am so sick of this ridiculous heat wave up here, wednesday was the hottest Sept. 5 on record in our area.
I am looking forward to a cool fall for sure, although less excited for winter...

Lies! There's no way you fellow GTAers walked outside on Wednesday and thought, "Geez this is nice, I wish it could be this hot forever." I don't believe it!
I went for a walk on Sunday and must have sweat litres.

Agree.
Monday, Tuesday, and ESPECIALLY Wednesday were like walking around inside a goblins hot butthole. Disgusting. I'm happy for Fall.

I was sweating buckets the entire long weekend.
Nevertheless, I'd still take that over winter any day of the week.

People who prefer heat over cold are just monsters.
Cold? More layers. Turn the heating up. Move around more. Find another human or pet(s) and snuggle.
Heat? If you're not in aircon, you're fucked. If the heat is more than the aircon can handle, you're fucked. Staying still might still leave you sticky and wet. Can't remove layers indefinitely, unlike adding them.
It's just pragmatic to prefer cold over heat (especially wet heat). Heck, winter is about the only time of year (either here in Brisbane - where "winter" is actually a mislabeled mild summer and you're lucky if the temperature hits single digits at night, probably still gonna be a 21-25 degree day, etc - or elsewhere) that I can walk without being miserable. I walk really fast by default, so I'll take at least part of that blame, but it's not an issue when the temperature is a reasonable 15-18 degrees out or, better yet, below 10. Then I can actually consider the act of running or entertain clothing options like jackets.
Hell, the best part of cold is that you can do things like have a fire on, or enjoy those things I don't currently own because this city is ridiculous known as blankets. Having your shower too warm just leaves you feeling nice, instead of feeling like you've walked out of a sauna too recently for the next 15 minutes.
Cold is infinitely better than heat. Snow, ice, don't care, I'll take it over 25 degrees and sunny any day. Granted I once had to be forced by parents to put on more than a t-shirt and shorts in negative degrees Celsius, and was most vexed when I found out that you are supposed to dress in multiple layers before going out in snow, so I appreciate that might be a bit extreme for some, but the basic principle still applies.

You people are weird. Drink a cold beverage and find shade in the heat.
25 degrees of dry heat is the best weather ever (maybe add a light breeze to it). You can literally do anything in that.
Wet heat is less enjoyable, sure, but it still beats minus 10 or minus 15 any day.

I should maybe caveat this by pointing out I have gigantic knitwear problem - and you can't get snuggly woolly jumpers out in heat

Yes, I will also mention that I lived 3 winters (october-late April) in minus 40, and I worked 7 summers in humid 30+ outside.
In my experience, heat is unequivocally better than cold.

Incidentally, i'm incredibly happy to have gotten a haircut. That means I'm gonna sweat significantly less walking around in the glorious sun.
