Yes, the nerve of some people - being titillated by a woman in a bikini.

Great day.
They picked ed sheeran, thinking out loud, as their first dance, inspired choice by the groom, given the opening line

I've been accepted for a Master's in Paris, starting in a few months. So currently I'm trying to sort out all of the logistics and scramble together any semblance of French that I can... underneath the various layers of panic I think I'm pretty excited!

Remember to bring a beret and a striped t-shirt. To be accepted properly by the locals, make sure to smoke copious amounts while drinking wine and reading Sartre, preferably making small tutting noises all the while.

Keeps the French vampires away. Then again, they're probably so snooty they wouldn't be caught undead drinking barbarian blood.

Man I hate scalpels.

Me and my mate were due to go to the gig.
He had to cancel, as I had paid for the tickets I said I would get rid of it for face value as the venue.

Just landed, didn't feel like shouting 9ut 58cket for sale and that shit, I would never ask for more than face value BTW,
But 5 here was this guy begging to buy a ticket for face value of everyone.
Not sure where he's from, but he is clearly a fan.
So I gave him the ticket, told him to buy me a beer,
His reaction? ? Worth every penny

Swelling going down, finger dexterity returning.

No one at home's noticed the bruising yet.

At this rate, I just may be good to go for the game on Sunday!

You should play cricket Ment. You get pads and gloves and a helmet.

I've got terrible hand-eye coordination, and I'm terrible at throwing stuff.

Plus I don't really have a ton of free time to master the arcane rules of that sport.

I love chess, and I used to have a CFC rating, back when I played in undergrad. It's listed as one of my interests. And it seems much simpler than cricket

@Nom: I stay away from ice and winter-based sports in general. I'm considered "too violent" for basketball, so hockey wouldn't be a good fit (plus I'm not ever being malicious.... I'm just hopelessly reckless when I get into the game, with no care for the well-being of myself or others).

Have you considered Rugby. It is the mainly version of both Soccer and Football.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Have you considered Rugby. It is the mainly version of both Soccer and Football.

Once again, there's the hand-eye required.

Plus, I can't imagine myself actually purposefully inflicting pain on someone. In soccer, it's different, and I get very few calls against myself, because the refs can always see that my eyes are 100% focused on the ball, and no matter how I might hit or trip another player, my intent is always to win the ball (it helps that I never use my arms to try to get people off the ball). I can never bring myself to perform a tactical foul, because I know it's blatantly against the rules.

It's not a mindset that would translate well to rugby, where you need controlled aggression. I'm more of a purposefully reckless type player.
