I've been having a rough time lately (work, finances, etc) but this past weekend I decided to re-play Dragon Age: Inquisition. I know it's not the best game out there - and I would like to eventually get a PS4 so I can play Witcher 3 - but man, is it fun to run around and kill Darkspawn; so cathartic. Also, I'd forgotten how funny Iron Bull can be.
It's the weakest game in a lot of ways but it has the best companions!
I genuinely can't say or hear 'Blackwall' without descending into girlish giggles.
And Dorian is basically a magical Errol Flynn.
And Bull's romance scenes.
It may have felt like a MMO where I was the only person on the server especially with the way quests were handled and how the story unlocks, but I still find it ridiculously enjoyable to play.
My one major bitch is that none of your choices affect anything! Seriously, they affect NOTHING.
It makes it feel like a set-up prologue for the next game.
