Actually Bk makes a valid point.
Has anyone heard from Gusty in a while, anyone bookface friends with him?

Back at home after my weekly long drive back from work.
Oxfordshire sure is nice, but Newcastle is where it's at for me.
Settling into some Broadchurch, it's grim but entertaining!

Mother finally got her shop sold. Not for much, most of it is going to go into paying off debts and taxes, but it's done, whooo!

Hows the new job going?
It's been amazing man. Learned so much more than I did in Italy, and I've been given more responsibility and been relied quite heavily upon.
When I worked at RedBull Jr it was mainly pattern work for the carbon moulds. But here for the last 6 months I've been machining actual car parts. For more interesting and challenging.
I've made quite an impression too, having been offered a permanent contract and encouraged to relocate etc.
But my 6 month contract, even though I got an extra months extension, is nearly up.
So yeah, it's been spot on.
Such a shame to know I could be working for a F1 team permanently save for 250 miles of motorway.

I just used my three year old as an excuse to get my photo taken with the TMNT! I fangirled out so hard when Leo hugged me. 😂

We leave on a family trip tomorrow to Florida. Can't wait to get away from this cold and snow and other irritants and just enjoy some family time!

I've had 6 solid hours of sleep for the lady two nights in a row. The Boo was teething, like we'd thought. Turns out all 4 of her upper central and lateral incisors were coming in at the same time. Poor kid, but at least they're out of the way fairly early at 8 months.

Spent the week trying to convince my Blissling that she is a leprechaun because she has red hair and green eyes. She isn't buying it, but at least I've taught her to tell everyone that she is up to shenanigans.

The first wave of shit blooming outside is almost done and I've barely needed my meds. I'm still dreading the next month when the birch will be blooming, but I'm cautiously optimistic that the immune therapy seems to be paying off
Which is great as my arms feel like they're about to fall off from the current batch of shots.

My current job has me travelling at a minimum of 300 km (the average so far has been 600) from home every week. Kind of destabilising. Luckily I'm footloose and fancy free and hotels have internet connections that don't suck now.
One clear advantage though, suggested by my step-brother, was to use these trips as a way to visit local microbreweries. That is the plan today. Heading out to hang out in scenic country and drink good beer.

I've spent the past five hours cutting pictures of plants and animals out of old gardening magazines as I drink tea and watch Grand Designs.
My spirit animal is a sixty year old British woman.
