Exchanged contracts on the flat! Completion this Wednesday :p went back to visit it on Saturday to do some measuring up - it's still there (always good) and still gorgeous. Can't believe it's taken over four months but the end is (two days) in sight!

Also, I now own a lot of furniture. I'm adulting, and I'm not sure I signed up for it. Send help! :p

Just booked tickets to go to Astronautalis concert tommorrow.

The worse part is it is 4 hours drive by train, after the show 6 hours wait, with nowhere to be, for the first train to take me home departing at 5am, and I´m going alone. Weather forecast is no rain or snowing and temperatures should be around -6 Celsius, so at least that is not that bad.

Technically my first concert I will go to, seems to be worth it right now.

Travelling to Cambodia in four days.. These last days of work will be a struggle, but soon I'll be drinking cocktails in questionable colours from a rooftop bar in Phnom Penh.

Saw the specialist in follow up. He and the X-ray confirmed what I already knew- the extra bone stuff I was growing stopped. I knew that, because if it didn't my therapist wouldn't be able to give me full passive extension in the elbow.

What this means is that I won't need surgery, and I can stop taking the medication. Hooray!

So now it's just a matter of doing Physio and exercises to get it back to normal. Easy.

I got tickets to Hamilton! They aren't the best seats (I was in work and my phone didn't like the Ticketmaster website so by the time I got there there wasn't many good ones left) but it is on my birthday weekend next year and I am thrilled I managed to get any!!

Indeed, where I was once offered to buy a stolen ham from a guy in a trench coat after a concert. Hamilton is a WEIRD ass place, even for Canada.

It was a blast.

Kitsu, if he ever comes anywhere close to you, don't miss him.

I'm somehow drunk and sitting in a bar at the place of show, don't care about no nights or trains, it was worth it about thousand times.

Make the move to safety razors. They're cheap where you are and the blades are cheaper/better than the Gillette ones too.

I did this a few years ago and have never looked back.

To be clear... a straight razor terrifies me. I will never do that.

I think my father has a safety razor lying around, and Wilkinson/7O Clock blades are pretty cheap. But how do they compare in smoothness?

Usually better, as they stay sharper for longer. The key is to get your face actually wet, using the soap if you need that.

I use the soap if I have more than 3,4 days worth of stubble. Otherwise, it's fresh out of the shower, shave right away.

I need to get on this train

Me too, they sound great! If you don't have too long in the morning and tend to shave while showering would they work for that?

You can do it like that, but I wouldn't recommend it. Safety razors with soaps are so much more fun and relaxing...

If you know your face and don't move too much (hopefully your shower floor isn't slippery in there) during the shave, you can do it in there. I usually do it immediately after the shower because my shower doesn't have a mirror in it for the pesky spots to shave.

You know if you just don't shave then you don't have to worry about razors.

I've shaved in the shower for about 15 years. After a while it becomes second nature to do it without looking.

Plus, the hot water makes it smooooooth.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
