Nice Raraku, way to break the dry spell.

Just ate a whole bag of beef jerky for lunch, it was delicious.

That's a healthy lunch! I'll be winning within a matter of hours. Hooray!
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

I speak to the only new face in my local metal nightclub who isn't a dirty fresher and she turns out to share approximately 87% of my interests - including the sense of humour - recently broke up with her boyfriend, and is inviting me around hers on Monday for dinner, Terry Gilliam movies and videos of Bill Hicks live. Oh, and I don't appear to be allergic to her cat.

Last night was goooooooooooooooood.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

She doesn't have a penis and I wasn't sacrificed while at her place already, so I'll be fine right up until the Winter Equinox.

The only thing worrying is the "recently broke up with her boyfriend". You should probably go ahead and drown him in the creek, just to make sure he's out of the way.

It is slightly disconcerting, yes. But that cloud on the horizon is almost certainly nothing to worry about. Unless it's a Dust Of Dreams style horizon cloud, but I'll explode that bridge if I come to it.

I am very happy as I am now viewing the forum on a 22 inch monitor using my 1 day old pc!

Everything now looks awesome, and loads in a blink. Time to test Total War in widescreen, mwa hah hah!
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

Bullying spineless academics and being a difficult bitch to students is making me happy today. If the idiots can't sort themselves out then they're doing everything my way!

Now I really hope it all works out or I'm going to look like a prick.....

Having Left 4 Dead, COD 4 and Empire: Total War to entertain me in the coming weeks before Assassin's Creed II is making me happy. Also some great TV is back on, like Dexter.
