On the subject of vermin: I was mowing the lawn and almost broke my neck avoiding running over a frog by accident. Later i was weedwhacking and it was everything i could do to restrain myself from deliberately lopping off the heads of sky rats (geese).

Outside of the leprosy thing BK, amount spot on, thats pretty much what you were saying.

My toddler just fell walking across the living room and my 3 year old yells "Down goes Frazier!"
That's my girl.
She also told me today in a very serious voice that you don't say oh shit, you say oh nuts.

nicely drunk. Not sure about tomorrow morning, but tonight, feeling this drunk after a restless week as soon as I'm back from vacation feels good
it was my lawschool classmate's 30th b-day, so got to catch up with a bunch of people I have not seen in a while, as well as meet some new good people.
Alll this without making an idiot of myself.
And tomorrow I get to sleep in.
Life is quite good. Hopefully no hangover tomorrow.

Going to York today, officially the greatest city in the World!
As part of the day, I get to meet The Retired Bridgeburner & see some of her falcons and stuff!
Also part of the day is seeing some of the people I grew up with at a party.
And we're starting the day with bacon!!

So upon quick read of some articles some 15-20% of ninebanded armadillos are infected with leprosy and some 95% of people are completely immune to it. That makes some 0.875% chance you will get infected after handling a nine banded armadillo. Is it that difficult to just not touch them?
We have deer here jumping to road out of nowhere and fucking up cars regularly, they can't be dodged nowhere near as easily as armadillos, they can also carry rabbies, that doesn't make them pests. Your personal preference about how cute an animal is does neither. They are also on way higher intellectual level than slugs or insects.

Mild hangover. The weather's grey, and not very conductive to going biking and running errands.
But I got to sleep in till about 1 PM. I haven't had that luxury in a while.

As expected it was a great day in York. TRB is even lovelier in person and we had a fantastic time at the Bird of Prey Centre. And, as forum rule state, when Malazites meet, photos must be posted...

I'm too far north to be looking forward to the Winter months. Plus, I spent 32 years in Minnesota, where it's colder than a witch's tit in a brass bra for 6 months out of 12. I do enjoy Winter stargazing though, so it's not all bad.

My grandmother gave me quite a bit of money. New bathroom, here I come! Hopefully I'll have it done by winter. This also makes me able to buy a new, more efficient fireplace. In early spring we're all getting balconies. IT'll be a completely different apartment in not so long

That's one way to go. The other is to find a really good candy shop and buy some of everything.

I would go for a nice bathroom over a cool TV every single time. Significant other candidates are usually happy watching shows on tablets and love love love cool bathrooms.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

You could install a nice medium screen TV in the bathroom.
