Got to meet Egwene today. And eat ice cream. Also, tea, bought some tasty tea.

Thanks for all the well wishes folks. He's still awesome! Still in the super sleepy newborn phase so he's deceptively easy for now. I'm healing ok except it feels like my guts will fall out when I laugh too hard and it's hard to contain the laughs when he projectile poops on Mr PigDogs change!

Yay for c sections!

Amen to that!

I always wanted a natural birth but the big-headed 6kg+ (and that's without GD!) bohemoth had other plans. C-section turned out to be awesome (for me. Although the epidural and I didn't get along very well) since I was out of hospital 24 hours later and fully mobile (well, bending was a little uncomfortable). I totally expected to be on the couch for a few days at least, too sore to move, based on what I knew of other people's labour/post-labour pain but it wasn't needed.

Congratulations Mez! Parenthood is hilarious! You'll love it!

And you're not complaining, you're criticizing. It's a side-effect of being better than everyone else, I get it sometimes too.

Got me a face to face interview to attend.
Done a fairly informal pre-interview kind of thing yesterday and got a mail back this morning saying they'd be happy to have me in when I get back from my holiday.
So I fly out Tuesday for 2 weeks of my 2 boys and my girl in the sun (fir the record it's probably going to be colder in Salou than it is here in Faenza!), then fly back to an interview that could potentially blow all my previous jobs away.
Sitting in a pizzeria waiting on gluten free pizza and chips for my freak-of-nature-celiac-ass, which is something worth celebrating in itself, feeling pretty darn good.

All things considered of course.

I'm homeless!!

meaning the neighbor made an offer 5% above asking price. And the contract says they're getting a loan at 4% so I countered with an offer of 3.8% for me to rent them the money.

Who's gonna take care of the barn cats?
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

My advice to Mez that in sure they know already... Keep it covered for a few secs xtra cause that hose is likely to spray as soon as air hits it.

My advice to QT even though it sounds creepy is to check and re check all cracks during the liquid poo stage to avoid infections.

Jace was so much easier to deal with then Jaina.

Too right! Having a boy after a girl was waay easier. Apart from when he learned to flip over and crawl away mid change - but then I perfected the ankle grab/get nappy on escaping baby technnique.
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

I saw them live, they were OK. She has a great voice though. They were the first band on before Shinedown and AlterBridge (who I am a huge fan of!) So yeah, good memories of them even though they were technically the worst of the 3 bands... :)

Ooo, was that at the MEN? We were seated down the sides and they didn't put the side rigging up - worst sound I've ever had for a gig :) Alter Bridge were bearable sound-wise but Halestorm were just noise!

Yes it was. I was in the seating along one side but a lot further back so I could hear pretty well...

Just got back from Luci and Shiara's wedding.

Best. Vows. Ever. Including "Here's your ring. Don't lose it." :D

Even better than the Crimson Guard.

Maybe if we ask really nicely, someone from the bridal party might post them. Along with pics. HINT HINT.

Was great to catch up with Centz, Crutie, Wolfy, Loki, Silencer, Lazan Door, Raz and of course Shiara and Luci.

Shiara had this Carrie-Ann Moss look going on. Tres hawt. :)
Bridesmaids came up alright with a scrub too. :)

Saw OF MONSTERS AND MEN open for Florence...and they were not only suitably PHENOMENAL live...they were even better than I expected, and I'd not thought that was possible. I'm still buzzing from the show three days ago and the music is all still rattling in my head.
