When the wife is gone, I get super domestic. Broccoli and mushroom stroganoff with sour cream brownies in the oven.

Damn man. Does she know you can do that?
Also never heard of sour cream brownies but if they are like sour cream donuts - yum!

Yeah, so far the small taste I had seemed good. More like a cheesecake. Basically, when I took it out of the oven, it was a chocolate crust overlying liquidy depths. Had to cool and then I refrigerated it to facilitate future cutting. will try it after lunch today (my oldest boy is already being very annoying about asking for a brownie every few seconds.....)

For all you astronomy fans (and fans of childish humour), hopefully this link will be easily clickable. Depending on your sensibilities maybe not safe to play out too loud at work, despite no swearing

It's a parody song, which is stuck in my head now (it was funnier when originally played on the radio with the hosts laughing at the lyrics)

If I click it, will I be rick-rolled?
Yesterday, upon the stair, I saw a man who wasn't there. He wasn't there again today. Oh, how I wish he'd go away.

No rick-rolling. It's just a silly parody song that a listener to a radio show made and sent in. It was a bit of an in joke, as one of the presenters liked to (very) occasionally throw in a joke about Uranus, and his co-host would groan and complain (in jest) about it being juvenile. No big deal. Just made me laugh as the lyrics are cleverly done.

About 6 months back I Iost an 8GB pendrive. I was a bit upset because I had some self-written stuff on it. But since I couldn't find it anywhere I upgraded to a 16 GB.

This morning I took an old pair of jeans out to wear, and in the right front pocket was my pendrive! I inserted it into a pc, it was fine, the files were intact, the virus scan came up clean. I have no idea how this is possible as I distinctly remember that pair of Jeans getting washed and ironed before being put into the cupboard.

But hey I got my pendrive back!Posted Image

It's excellent when one's pornography is safe!

(just kidding)

Also, ironing Jeans?!

Um... yeah sometimes I look to have them ironed as they feel soft and smooth later... is this not common?

I iron jeans. It's particularly useful for skinny ones. If they shrink a bit in the wash the iron loosens them up again so I can actually get into them. Depends very much on the fit how necessary it is. Straightleg jeans don't need it so much but even looser ones benefit a smooth down on the lower leg.

I've just bought my first item of maternity wear in the form of jeans. I may wear them for the rest of my life they are so comfy and forgiving of any size gut! I'm feeling like Homer Simpson when he discovers the fat person clothing store and wears those dresses all the time.
