I went to a Planned Parenthood rally. A friend of mine asked if I wanted to go and gave me sign materials.

My "Deaf Guy Who Still Listens To Women On Healthcare" sign was made in 5 minutes and was a huge hit. I may appear on local news because of this.

Picture of the sign is at the Twitter link below:

I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Fucking around on OKCupid is delighting me. Not being mean, not being degrading, just asking the most random fucking questions I can and getting answers is so, so very funny. Maybe we'll even date! Lol.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Ask her if a hotdog is a sandwich. Then posit that burritos, wraps, gyros etc are all sandwiches. Then ask her if chili is soup. If she agrees, drop the bomb that cereal is soup then too.

People have strong, strong opinions on that stuff and since it's not politics or religion, it's a great longer discussion to have.

New Zealand is completely and utterly beautiful. I can abscond into the bush and become a citizen right?

I like that it's actually two pieces of paper stuck together. Commitment and grassroots signage-making. Awesome!

Two manila folders stapled together and some quick work with a couple sharpies.

I did end up on the local news and my Facebook blew up with 100+ notifications/comments.

In a way, I'm glad I was able to be funny and show people that there are men standing out there on the curb in pink shirts alongside all the women (and the people around them) who benefit from Planned Parenthood's services. However, I'm also really glad that the news story only featured me for a short burst and featured more heavily the women who were at the rally.

If I, with all my jacked up ears, can still listen to women, so too can the wackadoo Republicans trying to defund and repress women back into the Stone Age.

You could stick two wooden stakes into each side of your head and have literal peg-ears and still be able to listen to women better than a great deal of Republicans, because who listens to property?

Great job, by the way.
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.
