Congrats Puck... That's pretty damned impressive work. The linework is amazing. Do I see a stylistic hint of From Hell period Eddie Campbell in there?
If an opinion contrary to your own makes you angry, that is a sign that you are subconsciously aware of having no good reason for thinking as you do. If some one maintains that two and two are five, or that Iceland is on the equator, you feel pity rather than anger, unless you know so little of arithmetic or geography that his opinion shakes your own contrary conviction.
So whenever you find yourself getting angry about a difference of opinion, be on your guard; you will probably find, on examination, that your belief is going beyond what the evidence warrants. Bertrand Russell

That's quite possible. It's roughly the same time period, and also I read From Hell shortly before I started drawing, and then had a look at it again when I was stuck regarding what font to use for the speech bubbles, so I basically just copied the way From Hell does it.

in the UK people refer to that as 'Happy Hardcore'. Which just makes me think of Converge and Hatebreed cuddling each other.
Oh man, the phrase "Happy Hardcore" takes me back to my 90's rave days.
NOTE: Is it as maligned today as it was back in the day? Man, it was frowned upon by most of my DJ friends. If you weren't Anabolic Frolic...you should not be spinning HH. LOL
Example:
Stop the video before it melts your brain from saccharine awfulness.
And because I am loathe to leave you with that terrible taste in your mouth, here is a solid non-HH track to cleanse the palate.

Ban everyone who's been to a rave.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Which guitarist do you know? I've spoken with Stu before it turns out as he used to know someone from a different forum I've posted on (small world again). They had me at SHODAN.

Okay I'm going to shut up about it soon but I was asked to write about our trip by an Icelandic website and it got published here!
I have added Iceland to my destinations wish list. Looks totally amazing and the article does give the impression that you might have enjoyed it... well, a little at least

There was some seriously delicious food at the graduation ceremony. I'm so full I'm rolling around rather than walking.
I'm quite sad that I'm not going to be seeing some people from uni as regularly as I've gotten used to anymore, but the fact that all four of us who started the course together also finished it together, and passed with fyling colours, too, makes me a happy Puck. It seems like all four of us had independently hatched the same secret plan to make that happen, hahah.
