I'd take coffee with you, just in case the show at the Albert spills over and they demand it of all hu-maaans.

There is this fan made genre of music called Nightcore. I have no idea why it is so good.

in the UK people refer to that as 'Happy Hardcore'. Which just makes me think of Converge and Hatebreed cuddling each other.

Yup, there are songs I'd never listen to normally that are just awesome when Nightcore'd. It's amazing what a bit of playing with speed/pitch can do...

Back in the UK. While I'm sad the holiday is over, it was just about the best week of my life. Amazing country!

got a beautiful little staffie from the dogs home last Thursday (I wanted to rescue them all but alas, space permitting etc). Shes absolutely adorable, 2 years old, soft a brush, doesn't bark, barely cries, and just wants to be with you, generally around you, and sitting with you, and shes happy, wagging her little tail like a good un. Can't believe nobody else even took her out for a look see for around 2 months whilst she was there! Wanted a dog for 27 years, now I do, and I don't know how I coped with such a dog-less existence prior to Thursday. Posted Image

And on the same day, my lettered HoC arrived!!!!!Posted Image

Making me happy is seeing this..

Posted Image

..become this.. (spoilered for size and also sorry for the crappy pic quality, only got my mobile phone to take pics)

Spoiler

I may not be entirely happy with some details, but I have to admit, the printed copies look quite sweet. Also, I'm going to allow myself a pat on the back after spending a whole freaking year on this. Final presentation at uni tomorrow, but unless something goes horribly, horribly wrong, I'll be done with uni by the end of the week :D

I'm REALLY happy with the printing quality, especially because I had to look for a new printing company on short notice. The paper is just sweet. And they're proper hardcovers, not just some flappy piece of paper pretending to be hardcovers.

I must say Puck that looks pretty awesome.

Good luck with your Uni presentation

Edit: Curious about this, do you use fountain pens to write?

Thanks, guys :D

It's kind of surreal to see this in printed form..

I have to admit that I did not write the last pages, I just lucked out and found a font that did exactly what I needed it to do. I do use one of those pens you have to dunk into an inkwell for drawing, though.

That's really incredible Puck. I especially like the 4th pic, the postures and the shift in what's foreground and background are super. Hope the presentation goes well!

DONE! I'm all officially free now! :D

And thanks, everyone! ;) I'm glad people other than me myself think it's cool. I've stared so much at this I cannot really tell anymore. But the feedback at the presentation was great and here on the board, too, which makes me really happy :D

I worked on this for about a year. GUess it's possible to do that faster, but it was my first project of that scale.
