Love this baby, even though he did shit himself so badly today that I had to wash his hair.

Got my iPad back today.

I set in on a shelf in Lowes a couple of days ago. When I got home I called the customer service desk and the rep walked around the store while I steadily pinged the ipad. She found it in about 5 minutes.

Nice to know that the "find my iphone" will override the mute button.

There is an "Angry Inch" penis joke somewhere, I'm sure...

Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

I fear what horrors might show up in the "image" category if he googles "angry" and "penis".

Not only is it the 17th of May, the Norwegian independence day. It's also the 200th anniversary of the constitution, finalized on the 17th of May 1814.

So, lots of champagne will be had, starting in about an hour :wallbash:

Hopefully I'll deliver my bachelor thesis today so I don't have to kill one of the group members. I really don't know its possible to be so bad. The only thing that resembled Norwegian in 12 pages were the letters.

Going to see X-MEN DAYS OF FUTURE PAST tonight, and in a week's time I'll be in Barcelelona awaiting the boarding of a cruiseship!

Have to wait around for several hours this evening to collect some family from the airport. But SKIN GAME (the latest Dresden Files book) has magically found it's way into my hands just in time.

I heard it's not just a skin game...it's a skin adventure.

I got myself a safety razor, some soap and dug up my father's badger brush - which is older than I am.

I am now a convert to shaving the right way. Would even recommend for women and shaving legs, as it's so much better than the disposable cartridge method.

Kind of terrified of straight razors though. To do that cut-free and smoothly requires a degree of expertise/practice that I won't ever develop.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I'm at a blues concert with Sarah ( intermission right now). It's pretty awesome. The music is fantastic, the beer is great, and every guy here would change places with me if they could.

I'm in bed after an exhausting week at work and happy about that fact, so you're okay.

Looking at my dog still panned out on the floor after his walk earlier. Couldn't take him for as long a walk as usual, but when we were walking back, a kid came by on a quad bike, and the dog tried to chase it around a lap of the field. He managed to keep up with it for half a lap, but eventually fell behind. A full lap is over a kilometer. By the time he got back to me, he was absolutely shattered.

It's great to see the excitement of a dog being able to run absolutely flat out. I knew he was fast, but bloody hell he gave the kid a shock that he kept up for so long.

Monty is a big Labradoodle BTW.

My hair is purple. This will probably be a statement somewhere in all of my posts, related or not, for the next week, as I am still super excited about it every morning I wake up.

I ALSO GOT A NEW BIKE. I've never owned one as an adult (my last bicycle was like.. when I was 10, haha), so yaaaaaaaaay. It's super cute and I desperately want to ride it around but it's gonna rain and I don't mean the pitter-patter kind, I mean the thunderstorm and flash flooding warnings.

"Officer, where is the body?"
"Good morning, sir, it's by the side of this road here. Young woman, mid-20s, white, and she's clinging to this bicycle."
"It is a very nice bicycle. She probably wanted to ride it around and wasn't willing to let it go when the floods swept her away."
"Sir.. are you saying she'd rather die with her bike than let go and possibly have lived?"
"Yup, definitely the case. Make a note of that in your report and have it on my desk by Monday."
