'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'
Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

The fact that the danish national anthem was played instead of the spanish national anthem when the winner of Tour d France was presented this afternoon. A bunch of amateurs those frenchies...

So you're telling me Europe isn't a country?
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

A rather awesome rapidshare forum I discovered is making me happy.
Every comic and tv show I can imagine? Yes please.
Currently downloading the first season of the A-team... I haven't seen this show in some 15 years I think.

I loved the A-Team as a kid, but you're about to be disappointed. It doesn't stand up to the test of time well.

Yeah, I found that out the hard way with the Dukes of Hazzard. Its best left as a happy memory.
On a side note, Eddie Dean has a scar over his eye from when i was ramping my General Lee when we were kids.
Whats making me happy? BLT for lunch. This bacon is awesome.

I don't think you appreciate how much I love 80s films and TV-shows.
But lets see, otherwise there's always Magnum PI or X-files

So, General Lee is your nickname for your penis, isn't it?

I almost knocked over my soda i'm laughing so hard.
Although that does sound like a good name for a penis, mine hasn't done enough to get promoted to General.
Probably a Sergeant.

I fought off the urge to drink myself into a stupor of self-pity. Instead i made phonecalls, pulled strings, called in favour and generally traded on all the goodwill i'd amassed. And the result is...
Everythings back on track, i've got my funding, re-secure my uni place, still have a roof over my head and quite likely will have gainfull employment too. Yeay for Karma!!
And thanks to everyones sugestions/offers of murder and GBH... that made me happy.

Well done Wry! Good to see things are looking up again
And congratulations Salt-Man!
Making me happy: I've negotiated with my co-worker and am cool to head home half an hour early today - it's not a holiday, but I'll take whatever I can get!

Finally got around to returning all my empty beer cans and bootles. In all there was approximately 270 units which ended up jamming the return machine for 10 minutes while it was emptied. But I am finally rid of all those cans and bottles and I got some money back in the process. Yay!
