As for that accusation. Well, I happened to be on 2 dead time, with no guarantees as to whether PS comes up with the night scene before I doze off again. I had time, i wanted to spend it productively, so I made a case (not really a good case, but just some musings and things i'd like people to keep in mind). I started doing it, b/c I had the impresssion that Kas dropped off the thread after being uncilinced and centre of attention with that poke at me about the PMs on day 1. As I went through his posts, I saw that I was incorrect in that assumption. but since I was already looking at hm, I decided to keep going. and this was what I found. the case on HP aside (others made a bunch of them too), Kaschan does talk a lot of role talk. while he urges our roled players to stay put untill they're sure they get a bite, who's to say that won't provoke a "fuck you" type reveal? I prefer to keep things simple andjust not talk about roles. Role talk generally scummy, especially if that's pretty much all you talk about.

Not sure about the Kaschan thing to be honest, not a lot there. In fact not a lot all around at the moment case wise.

Well, knowing that i'm inno, I see two options before us for day 3
We can go for an other low-poster that shows no signs of improvement (Gamelon/Liosan)
OR, we can grow a pair and start looking at the mid to high posters who've been (for the better or worse of it), running this game so far.
Any comments on my Kaschan speculation (I'm not gonna call it a case quite yet)?

So... noone is making any cases about everything, we are all just going to sit here until day is almost over and random vote for someone?

My day is a living hell up until now. I will be able to leave in 45 minutes, thankfully... but may spend the evening staring at the tv or in a movietheatre to get all the bullshit I had to digest from customers out of my system. Tomorrow promises to be quiet and I will do the best I can then to "run the game" again together with Serc, Telas and Barghast, as Fener put it...

Im trying to look through the thread and see if i can find anything...theres just nothing there.
there are allot of people who have done odd little things here and there that can be seen as scummy. Its difficult to zone in and find anyone specific.

My guess is since there is only 2 scum...and 13 of us...it will be very difficult to find the scum as they just need to feed off of everything we do.

I would think the biggest guys that are just going with the flow are our likely scum.
Maybe we should look at those? The likes of liosan and such, driss a little aswell.

i dunno...you all seem equally guilty AND innocent...sigh.

I have a feeling if we are going to hit scum its going to be on pure luck...untill the numbers come down a bit more its going to be difficult to filter out the rubbish from the scum

Another thing about the UB's choice of silencing. Im wondering why the two CI's havent been silenced. Surely we are the ones that he would want silent? Our opinions cant be shot dwn and turned to suit the scum. Why then not chose us?

I think the UB wanted to do either himself or BB very early on, thats what i would do.
So i would bet that either UB hasnt thought of silencing us...or he wanted to silence himself or perhaps BB (maybe BOTH??) to give themselves a days rest for one...and for having less info that can be used against them in the form of posts that can be seen as scummy.

UB/BB wouldn't want to be silenced on later on in the game...its too dangerous, and not really advantageous anyway. Since he will at some point im sure, pretend to be dead or guarded by stopping to silence people, sending us the illusion of him being dead or guraded.

I'm still kinda edgy about that "poke" about the PM he made at me. While he could have been genuinely"fishing for a reaction", using pictures makes it difficult to tone things down and I felt it was a pretty straightforward accusation of me on Day 1...

Im sorry if my accusation hurt you, but its hard as fuck with the pictures to make a case.

It was day one, and I wanted to see a reaction. The case was weak and only worth using on day one. What you did was most likely coincidence, its not even very suspicious. You used similar words to UBs quote. Big deal. Had you massively over-reacted etc I would have jumped on you for that, as that would have been suspicious. If you were UB it is entirely possible you would have realized you'd messed up and over-reacted. But most likely an inno wouldnt. Unless you are VERY good at playing scum.

You also dislike my role speculation?

Im sorry, but I havent role spculated. I havent(iirc) voiced an opinion on who I think anyone is.

The most I ever came close to speculating was on what roles omtose and mockra were, and this was after they revealed, so the fact they were roled was known anyway.

I have at many times stated that I dont want reveals, you ought to know, youve quoted lots of them.

Your reasoning about UB silencing himself is possible, but surely he wouldnt do it day one. On day one all hed need to do was lay low. And if I was UB and I silenced to avoid suspicion, why day one, and why would I become, as you say "an active poster" afterwards, surely just posting just enough to avoid suspicion, but not enough to make a case against, would be the way to go.

Hi guys, this is just a quick checking in post I'm afraid, but I will be able to post a lot more in a few hours when I get home. Just wanted to see if anything had happened. Fener, I'll have a good look at the Kaschan thing when I get home.

At the moment, there seem to be weak cases on everyone and not a strong case within a thousand-mile radius of this thread. I have to disagree with Mockra about evil silencing - there's still plenty of us left and still very little to go on (as Mockra admits), so I'd think that UB will still be entertaining the thought of silencing themselves or BB in the future, if they have not done so already.

I said earlier I had a thought about a way to proceed - I haven't managed to find the time to look into it yet, but once I get home I will. Only it might not lead to anything.

On another note, Gamelon, care to tell the reason for the vote? Most people give a reason for a vote. Especially for the one that takes it to a lynch. Wanting to be ironic just isnt enough. He still had time left to reveal, and if he didnt, you could always have voted then. Waiting an hour or two wouldnt really have hurt surely?

lol, trust me I know all about being silenced--which is why as a general rule I find it ludicrous that someone would willingly submit themselves to it

I guess i didn't really get the point across much about role spec--I recall being hounded for it myself when i'd try to give reasons why we think there was no NK, or whether there are finders/guards, are they paired/not etc. And you wrote a LOT as soon as you were able to talk about the healer. Now, I don't expect that you'd be the healer drawing so much attention to yourself, but the only other person that'd want to know all about a roled player like that (while urging them not to come forward), would be a a scum. At least that's how i've been told to play it here.
As Telas has said, none of this is really strong. We don't have a stonewall case on anyone, and barring a finder's find, I doubt we will today. I'm not too sure about Liosan, but I don't want to make a case, because really it'd be just re-iterating all that was said on day 2, as he hasn't really beefed up his content since then. But, once again, lynching for lack of content should be our last ditch resource--if we cannot agree on anything else. Atm, I feel that on day 3 and with numbers dwindling, we have to start looking at the more vocal players, and have them look at each other.
