After all the characters we have met as of toll the hounds I got to wondering what characters have we heard about and yet have not met yet (who are still alive)?
I came up with toc the elder, grizzin farl, father light, the three and many of the mentioned avowed but are there any more characters we have yet to see and do you think we will get a glimpse at them in the MBotF or any of the other books?

For shame, you missed out THE most important imperial commander of them all:
the legendary Greymane.

I asked Steve if we'd get to see Grizzin Farl and he said
Spoiler
so that's a probable answer. Do you mean the rulers of Shal-Morzinn or however it's spelt when you say the Three?
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Depends if you mean in Erikson's books, or ICE's too... hard to say more than that, really.

@Illy
Yes I mean the Shal-Morzin rulers and ought to have made it clearer and I am dissapointed by your answer to the grizzin farl question as it has been bugging me for some time. Although after the whiskeyjack ressurection I have not been taking SEs word as law on these things

He did say that
And
RotCG spoiler
I suspect we will get at least a glimpse of most of the major characters at some point or other between SE and ICE, with the possible exception of the three.

I'd add the following to the list:
Dessimbelackis - yeah, he coulda been the guy that saved that tribal kid in TB... but not sure.
Icarium's Mother
Dassem's daughter - we've passed by her, haven't *met* her yet
Baudin the Elder/ confirmed old timer Talons - questionable whether we will.

The Seguleh First would be top of my list.
It is perfectly monstrous the way people go about nowadays saying things against one, behind one's back, that are absolutely and entirely true.

Grizzin Farl may pop up somewhere, but some Gods/Elders are dead and not coming back I'd assume....if nobody is around to know/worship them...they practically don't exist, right?

Yeah. For the most part. Although they can come back - see K'rul.

True. We don't know anything about GF...race affiliation, if any, aspect or whatever. I'm sure there's a host of others we'll never know anything about...which I'm in agreement with Apt on....I like that we don't or won't know everything.

Dessimbelackis - Hopefully we will get a book around the time of the first empire that tells us what happened, but I doubt it.
Icarium's Mother - I think its kilmandaross, its been hinted at but not stated outright
Dassem's daughter - Perhaps we will see her in one of dassems flashbacks or he will reserect her.
Baudin the Elder - confirmed old timer Talons - I think by now this one is dead and is not essential for anything other than background info for baudin the younger.
@sinisdar toste
I know thats what I meant, he tricked us into concluding we wouldn't see him again then brings him back as a ghost.

I think Iccy's mum could be any female TTT, really. I doubt heavily it's Kilmandaros, since she's almost certainly the FA progenitor.
