The only record in our league that I'll be holding this year soon is the most points spent on transfers...:D

i'm averaging 8 points spent on transfers a week which is balls business management in anyones books!
and yet i'm slowly making my way up the board. something tells me i'm craftily staying one step ahead with lucky transfers but its blatently all gona come crumbling down around my head in fantastic fashion later in the season

Come on the Phoenix. Up to fourth in Head-to-Head, 13th in the Malazan League. Cracker of a week, despite my captain only getting 2 points. Win :D

I've had two really good weeks, one average one and three bad ones. I've made over 20 points of changes already and used my wildcard.

I'm going for a risky lineup as well, let's hope the strategy pays off :D

Made changes that cost me a huge whopping grand total of 4 points so far this season. :p

Sitting at 16th place to show for it though...the whipping boys FTW!!!

Have made just the one ( and therefore free  ) change to my team each week which seems to have worked out well so far, last year I probably lost 1 or 2 places overall on the amount of points it cost me making 2 or 3 changes :) each week.

At least this way I have my Wildcard in reserve for when the inevitable change of luck happens :)

Grumble, you obviously have more patience than I do with players who aren't performing.

Another one without patience!

We should make our own group and set up some type of weird fantasy league on a sport...like football. It would be a great idea except it has one flaw; we're already doing this and I'm losing  (a.k.a. not in a gold, silver or bronze medal position).

Yea no patients what so ever...also, i realised that some of my choices were not going to get me anywhere...so just start fresh and pray. :)

I like your avatar, young one.

I have no patients either, not since that last one. He'll be regretting the left ear lobe surgery I conducted on him for a few days, I admit I got carried away (and I was distracted by a mirror).

If I'm not top by Christmas I'll do something slightly out of character.

Depends how long they don't perform for. A week or two, can be ok... if you've got other more pressing transfers to make.

I'd rather transfer them all out  My policy generally is if a play is consistently scoring poor points hauls (like one or two) and there looks like no hope of repreive then you are better off replacing them. My tactics last year were made solid.

Despite the fact I have 3 players injured and a striker who cant score for shit, Im still refusing to use my wildcard or spend any points on extra transfers and have gone for just the one transfer this week, even though the 4 point cost would easily be made up by putting Fabregas in.

Instead I've gone for Carvalho out, Bosingwa in, as Carvalho should be out the longest and Im hoping Deco will be back soon. Really soon. PLEASE! Next week, it's Do-Heon (anothe rplayer of mine who's got injured) out for someone or other.
