I won my head-to-head by a single point, which put me, shockingly, 10th out of 20, heheh.

I'm beating Mezla which is all that matters really.

Gutted by the number of people who I considered picking, didn't, and then went on to score a load of goals!

I didnt even think that was possible.

But surely that makes it pointless? Perhaps i am good. Just good at being pointless. But that would make me bad. Bad at having a point. Ah…. I see now. I was nothing before, I am nothing now. I am bad purely because im pointless. "

Ahh... My inevitable slide has begun already. From 2nd down to 6th.

That's what i get for not checking which teams were playing against each other. Bloody portsmouth. And curse Keane for transferring to Liverpool.

Well done Toby.

So the two players who forgot we'd started are now the top 2 in the table... Nice.

I don't care enough to be apathetic :D

So, I made some pretty wholesale changes and went with the WC in only the 2nd week. If I'm just stuck at the barrel I won't care, so I'll try to make a big move up this week to stay out of that successfully apathetic zone.

New squad:
1: Cech 8 8 8 Wigan (A)

2: Taylor 2 2 2 Liverpool (A) 3: Evra 2 2 2 Portsmouth (A) 4: Jagielka 1 1 1 West Brom (A)

5: Bentley 4 4 4 Sunderland (H) 6: Nasri 9 9 9 Fulham (A) 7: Barry 8 8 8 Stoke City (A)
8: Deco 14 14 14 Wigan (A)

9: Torres © 6 6 6 Middlesbrough (H) 10: Agbonlahor 17 17 17 Stoke City (A) 11: Carew 7 7 7 Stoke City (A)

Subs:
12: Ward - - - Tottenham (A)
13: O'Brien J 5 5 5 Newcastle (A)
14: Barnett 2 2 2 Everton (H)
15: Meite 2 2 2 Everton (H)

Obviously the point: I'm going with AV and AR with big wins over ST and Fulham.

In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

You used your wildcard in the second week???? Wow... risky.

Oh, apparently Nasri might miss next week... oh dear!

I know it's risky, but I got off to such a poor start that if I don't move up towards the middle this week then I'll become gradually more and more apathetic towards the league.

Better to go balls to the wall now and have a soul-searching decision on which 1 player I transfer week to week than sit at the bottom of the table the entire year.

Also, I don't expect to win, so using the WC doesn't really bother me in that aspect. Just want to be competitive.

And damnit Nasri! You better play!

Yeah, Nasri's withdrawn from the France squad due to a thigh injury, so I wouldnt hold your hopes for Saturday.

I definitely need to remember to transfer Song out for Do-Hyeon and Fabregas for Deco. But will I remember?
