It has been proven beyond all reasonable doubt that the most powerful force on Wu is a bunch of messed-up Malazans with Moranth munitions.

If we give him a Tropic Thunder make-over, yes.

Too true. Dal Honese. The same can be said for characters like Apsalar (Kanese).

I don't know if this has been discussed, but wouldn't this story be better served if made in CG instead of live action?
...I think I stepped in something...untoward...

Probably, but the characters still have to look like someone. They would probably be easier to "make" if the makers had something concrete to go by.

Blasphemy!!!!! What an outrageous thing to say!

Then you're ok with Samuel L. Jackson as Kallor?

OOh, I just had an idea. Kate Winslet as Tattersail. How about that?

But seriously, in this case, looks are kinda important. What if they made a movie out of the Half-Life games, and they cast Denzel Washington as Gordon Freeman. Wouldn't that be outrageously wrong?

Kate Winslet as Tattersail would be awesome. She is certainly curvy enough. Though she's been heavy before IRL, as I recall (I think I read an interview where she said she was almost 200lbs as a teenager). So she may not want to add weight.

We'll just have to convince her to do it. I'm guessing a forum full of crazy malazanites could be very persuasive...mvahahahahah!

Technically, we would be considered experts in this regard...Hollywood here we come!

But I don't want to have to share with Frook. He stares at me, and I don't like it!

Brilliant plan, Grimmy. We must alos ensure Abyss doesn't molest the very rich, very influential cats that live in LA. :broody:

There's an actor in either the 2nd or third Starship Troopers movie who'd be a good Whiskyjack. He's a big built, grey haired American dude who was even playing an officer who was busted back to being a noncom.
Really wish I could remember his name.
How about Stephen Fry for Bugg?

Too much hair for Bugg. He is bald, remember.

How about Zach Braff for Torvald Nom?
