Which apostrophes do you feel are inappropriate?

Probably mine. I'm terrible with you apostrophes (i actually just wrote apostrophe's and had to go back). Don't know why. It's, there's, my apostrophe usage is terrible. I wrote for law review. I absolutely hated the publishing phase (I just wrote faze and had to redo it). I don't know what's (see?) wrong with me.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

Using them to indicate a contraction is correct though. What's is a contraction for what is, etc.

But this is not grammar thread. Slumgum, take your incorrect pedantry elsewhere.

So last night I was walking downtown for some pizza at like 1am with some friends of mine,
and someone said, "I'm so hungry I could eat a whole pizza."

I said, "I bet I could eat 100 pizzas," and no one understood me. I was sad.

So they'll take him back......as a back-up?

He won't do that. Too much pride.

His overconfidence is his weakness.

Come on Packers! Give us some drama this season! Trade Favre to the Bears or Vikings!

Well, if I got paid 12,000,000 dollars to watch other people play an entertaining game I wouldn't complain.

By the way, he'd compete for the spot and win it. Aaron Rodgers is quickly becoming my favorite Packer due to sheer professionalism.

Rodgers does have poise. He's sat and waited....and you know this has to be pissing him off.

I think is an understatement. Favre's been waffling for years, and I think those years coincided with Rodger's drafting.

The NFL is better with Favre in it, but I can understand why the Packers want to move on.

Rodgers has not been the perfect picture of professionalism.

Aaron Rodgers quote: “I don’t feel I need to sell myself to fans, they need to get on board now or keep their mouths shut.”

Does he have a point? Yes. Was it smart or demonstrating professionalism to say it? No. Not going tto hold it against him though. He did apologize.
