Anyone else see the Umbrella Academy on Netflix? Fantastic stuff. Watchmen with 5x the dysfunction.
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

The Boys sounds like an off brand version of the Publisher kills the Marvel Universe.

Edit: I'm gonna keep that auto correct.

Wrapped up season 2 of The Punisher. I enjoyed it but I’m pretty sure these seasons would be better served being much fewer episodes. The seasons start out great, then feel stretched to finish.

Started the OA. I’m with RLY, I have no idea if I like it, but I’m gonna keep watching it.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.

Any you 'knowledge nerds' been watching Jeopardy lately? This weirdo is about to make history. Dude is brazen AF with his bets.

Over half a million in winnings. Betting $40k on Final Jeopardy... its a lot of fun watching him play.

He looks ... constipated.

I guess being full of shit must be working. He's only the second contestant to break $1 million (other is Ken Jennings). He did it in 14 games too ( vs. Jennings doing it in 33 games). Not sure if the amounts earned per category have gone up since Jennings' time, but that's impressive af.

Finished OA season 1. Probably won’t go on to 2.

Started Umbrella Academy.

Is this on anyone's radar? They showed this trailer during series finale of Gotham.

Yes!

Casting is also imperative.

I would be down with either Noel Clarke or Patterson Joseph for Peter.

And I REALLY REALLY Want Paul McGann as Nightingale.

Umbrella Academy was decent. I'm pretty indifferent about a season 2.

Started The Magicians, its....interesting. Intrigued to see if it can come together into something solid.

If anyone knows SM in real life I could see him being Peter. :apt2:

He's a bit of an unknown in the acting world, but I'm on board if you trust it. :) :p

Good actors, and I've only read the first book, but I got the impression Peter is in his 20s.

I'm more curious who they cast for the Rivers.

And Molly. Molly is critical to the success or failure of any such tv show.

The cast of Beverly Hills 90210 were the corresponding ages to their characters. For sure. Also, I have a bridge you can buy...
