Nice! I did not know that. My daughter will be thrilled! My wife and I enjoy it too.

I'm still trying to find the time to get through S1 on Netflix...and I like the general tone of it, but I've only made it to like ep 4 so far.

S1 has a few Teeny Boppy bits but the story is great. S2 gets down right fantastic.

Oh, it starts out with some run of the mill teen angst crap, but boy, does it get better. Second half of season 1 is rather good while season 2 is just fucked up, like for realsies! Which is good!
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I'd say stick with it. We binged it pretty hard and I really found the concept interesting. There are definitely some things that have to be overlooked (I'd be interested to see if the same things occur to you) but its pretty damn good despite that and the teen angst stuff. And yes, S2 does kick it up a few notches. I'll take this show over a lot of others.

It was a cool, if sparse and excessive explanatory opener...but I expected that with a team of 8 to show.

Darvill is great, as per usual, especially after the reveal of his initial lies.

I could watch Captain Cold and White Canary verbally banter and kick ass for hours.

I'm excited to see where it goes.

I still hate the guy who plays Hawkman though. He's just such a smarmy douche.

Stan Lee's The Lucky Man

First episode is intriguing. But I'll watch just about anything with James Nesbitt in it.

Well, first episode of The 100 season 3 carried on pretty nicely from last season.

Spoiler

Not really much more I can say without making a huge ass spoiler other than the method stuff, acting, story, etc. seems have not gotten better, but it certainly hasn't gotten worse either, I think.

Not really sure what this season is going to bring just yet for Clarke and her friends, but I have no idea where the Jaha story is going.

Anyway, I'll continue to watch it and I'm glad it's back for season 3.

Agreed. It seems that
Spoiler

I found that part more intriguing than the other, for now at least.

Agreed! There's a thread on it here somewhere, maybe a page or two back...

Page 4 in fact...

Thanks

Hopefully ur recording S3 so you can catch up after 2 seasons on Netflix and not have to wait a yr for s3 there.

I will second this! We had to wait for S2 to be released on Netflix as we discovered the show a little too late to watch it, even on the CW's site. By the time we finished our S1 binge, CW was only showing S 2 in review. It sucked having to wait the few months for it.

Actually, in Canada S3 is showing up on Netflix on the same night the new eps air, so I luck out (S3 ep 1 is already up on Cdn Netflix)!

Just finished season 2 of Brooklyn 99 and now we'll have to wait for ages for S3 to hit Netflix. :D

Wow. That's luck

I think it's because we don't have a proper CW station here in Canada. Most of the CW shows are picked up and run by other networks...so Netflix likely made a deal with the CW to act like the station that airs it here. It comes up under the Netflix logo and everything each episode.

EDIT:

Spoilers for S1 Ep5

So, I've watched a few episodes of Blacklist and I'm enjoying it. I did read here I think that the show takes a sharp dive in quality at some point, but that it gets back on its feet?

Just wait, QT, just wait. That won't be the only example of sacrifice and hard edged life and death choice...

I'm curious what the book the show is based on is like and how tightly this show sticks to it.

Anyone watch The Magicians pilot based on the books by Lev Grossman?

Got that to watch tonight when I get home.

It's on the dvr. May wait til I have a few eps in the can.

Watched it.

Am unimpressed on pretty much all points, acting, fx, story.

This wasn't a bad adaptation, it was bad tv.
