It's season two and there are still 12 monkeys? What are the monkey hunters doing, just sitting around blowing smoke up each other's butts? Terrible show.

Well, you know, with that many monkeys around there's bound to be the obligatory flinging of feces and monkey whoring. So it's not out of the question that the monkeys actually procreated, thus keeping the population stable to 12 monkeys.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

You would side with the monkeys.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

I'm not siding with them, I'm just saying that it's not unfeasible that they throw around DNA like they throw around feces. It could happen.

I gave up on Killjoys and Jonathan Strange and Mr. Norell. For some reason they just aren't holding my interest, although I would like to read Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell.

Fair warning: The book is SUPER dry. The TV series seems to have distilled the essence of the story into a much more workable, entertaining thing. The book is an unwieldy monster that will entertain you AND put you to sleep in equal measure. One of the most singularly frustrating reads I've ever done. It's VERY much a product of someone weaned on Jane Austen, and her ilk of 18th Century authors. YMMV.

I tried to start the book a few times but could never get too far. The TV show seemed to cut a lot of waffle.

Most recent episode of Killjoys was damn good, but the Dark Matter episode was a bit boring.

Someone please take my Man Card away from me! I've been watching The Bachelor shows since Andii's season last year. Take it please. Now!!!

I would but I am pretty sure you lost it 2 years ago for something else girly that you watched and or did. As it currently stands you have 5 punches left on your girly card before you get the "You are now a housewife" card.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

Depends on if you find it funny when a man fails himself and others at every turn.

I'm late to the Last Man on Earth party. Only on 2nd episode and I must admit I'm not lol n like I feel like I'm supposed to be. Does this show get better? Or funny for that matter?

It does not get better. I watched about 5 or 6 eps (can't recall) and it's consistently UNFUNNY. I don't think I laughed once. It's a shame.

At what episode? It's gotten so much better from 1&2. As I said not the best show ever but I'm in for S1 atm.

I gave up after the nanobot interrogation episode.

I've been feeling pretty apathetic about a lot of TV shows recently. I never got into The Flash or Arrow, Killjoys and Dark Matter don't interest me, and I gave up on Strange and Mr. Norell. :apt:

It sounds like the J.S.& Mr.N book might not hit my to be read queue.

Daily Show had me in tears. :apt:
Trouble arrives when the opponents to such a system institute its extreme opposite, where individualism becomes godlike and sacrosanct, and no greater service to any other ideal (including community) is possible. In such a system rapacious greed thrives behind the guise of freedom, and the worst aspects of human nature come to the fore....

It was a great send off, miss him already. Only consolation is that we have Jon Olivers weekly show, which is funny as hell.

So you don't watch Larry Wilmore's weekly or have interest in Trevor Noah's continuation of the Daily Show?
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

Oh, I've watched The Nightly Show aswell, don't really know why I stopped. I don't know if I'll watch Trevor Noah, haven't decided yet.

But I still think it's kind of an end of and Era from which only Jon Oliver is left (that I know of)
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

Killjoys ep 7 fantastic! Also Amanda Tapping guess starred. Dark Matter ep 8 also great. The Star Wars 36 comment had me loln. Idk what year these shows take place and I still think they maybe connected. That ending on Dark was an oh shit moment.

I didn't even realize that was Tapping! She was good in it.
