Watched a couple episodes of the OA and can’t decide if I give a shit enough to watch more.

The first season is rewarding if you make it to the end, but if you are struggling after a few eps, I understand that and it may not be your jam.

I’m still going, I think 4 episodes in. I don’t love it but it’s just interesting enough to start the next episode. I’m hoping for a great lay-off that makes me want to watch the next season.

I enjoyed it. Not love, but never considered bailing before it was done.
Will watch S2 eventually on the strength of S1.

In the past couple weeks I binged through the four seasons of Steven Universe on Hulu and cannot wait till they add S5. Has it eclipsed Adventure Time in my heart? No. But is it pretty great in its own right while scratching some of that same itch? For sure. I love it.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

And Farscape is good but it doesn’t start that right away imo. Def a build up till it really takes off.

Worldbuilding-wise, I agree that it takes a few episodes. However, all of the actors embody their characters from the get-go. Ben Browder is Crichton. Gigi Edgley is Chiana. Chuck Jones is Ka D'Argo. Virginia Hey is Zhaan. Claudia Black is a sexy badass murderess.

Awesome! I've seen a most of the first season. Time to finish it up.

I'm caught up to present day Magicians. I think this show is one of the two or three best ever produced. It's taken the pretty good base of the Grossman books and elaborated so far and beyond that it's now the gold standard for adaptations.

It's brilliant, moving, funny, gross, insightful into power and pain, and above all *magical*.

Each cast member is terrific at what they do.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I purposely delayed watching the latest episode because I've been tired at night and couldn't give it the attention it deserves. It's such an excellent show. There's no way i could have predicted the way the episode unfolded. Poppy's part was hysterical.

I'm not caught up w/ S4, and it's not quite that high on my all-time list, but I do agree with so much of that. The dude who plays Elliot in particular is extraordinary. Everyone on it is good (and it's an extremely tricky tightrope this show walks, riskier than most shows -- since these are seriously complex characters, not straight heroes or even antiheroes). But Eliot, Arjun Gupta (Penny), and Summer Bishil (Margo) are like cream of the crop talents.
They came with white hands and left with red hands.

Do they still bleep out the “fucks”? I ain’t watched since S2.

The Order definitely targeting its fans.

They do not. Margo is a treasure of cursing. I think Hari Michaelson would be impressed.

And then there is this masterpiece.

Finished watching The Pacific In The Wake of Captain Cook with Sam Neill. Six episodes covering Capt. James Cook's travels around the Pacific - down to Antarctica and up to Alaska. White nationalists like that human garbage scum who thinks Australia and New Zealand are his birthright (and others like him) would do well to watch it. The series doesn't pull any punches about what Cook's journeys in the Pacific and first contact meant for the indigenous peoples thriving there. The sixth and final episode completes with Cook's death in Hawaii. A lot is opined about Cook (good and bad), but most glaringly near the end of the final episode Lilikalā Kameʻeleihiwa (Hawaiian historian) describes Cook as a "syphilitic, tubercular racist" who brought genocide to the Polynesian cultures.

I agree that it does take a few episodes for the show as a whole to get going well. Also totally agree with W about the characters, they are great from the get go. I got my daughter started on it while Netflix still had it. We only got about 4 or 5 eps in and then something else came out (probably GoT, one of her favorites) and before we got back to Farscape, Netflix lost it. But Farscape is one of my favorite shows ever. I will happily get back to it now that its on Prime.

Finished the oa. Still not sure if I like this show or not but I’m going to watch the second season as soon as it comes out.

Decided to give Westworld Season 2 a try. Its....ok. All of the story lines are very thin and i cant seem to care one iota about their outcomes. I'll keep watching though, because despite that its still enjoyable.

2 episodes left of season 2 of the oa. My feelings have not changed. I don’t know if it’s any good or if I like it but I’m going to keep watching it.

If any of you pansywansies think Dr. Pimplepopper was a sickening watch then you should totally skip The Toe Bro.

Episode 8 was BY FAR the best episode of season 2 so far. Solid. But then again, Zahn McClarnon is awesome and it was his episode, so....
