Meh, you're not missing much. I never got the whole insanity over 'Friends' anyway. (Probably because I have none myself, right? :p )

And in the interests of full disclosure - I couldn't stand Seinfeld. Only ever saw one ep that made me chuckle, and that was the JFK ripoff ep about the 'second spitter on the grassy knoll'.

Big Bang's best years were seasons 2-5. Like most long running TV shows.

I'm sure there's plenty of other so-called 'classics' that get the thumbs down from me, but I can't be arsed can't think of any at the moment.

See, now even though Seinfeld was before my maturation such that I could enjoy the nuances and minutia of a sitcom (that Seinfeld demands of the viewer), I have found it funny as hell when I've clicked around the grid and landed on it in syndication. It's legitimately a funny show and the jokes pay off big time. Friends though - yawn, blecky, yuck. Unfunny to me. Sorry Friends sycophants, its just how I see it (and or my opinion). You can still enjoy it though, I won't judge (maybe a little Posted Image).

Anyone watching The Passage? First episode was pretty good. I'm curious to see where it goes. I have the novel in my queue, but wanted to see the show before reading.

On dvr. I will chime in afterwards. ...

Can't do it. Disliked the PASSAGE book and the sequel, and THE STRAIN became such a bad show as to put me off the vampocalypse subgenre entirely.

Ross and Rachael are both awful people. I think they deserve each other.

The true heart of the show is Joey.

Watched the first three eps of DC's TITANS (netflix), and I had SOOOOOO written this show off as garbage after seeing the trailers...but I'm happy to eat a lot of crow.

It's excellent! Like I'm Really impressed. It's definitely not TEEN Titans mind you....much more like Daredevil in tone...but well written, acted, soundtracked ect.

Solid, solid stuff.

Watched the first two eps of TITANS.

HOLY.
CAPEFUCK.

This is actually very good.

Edgier than the CW DC stuff. Better pacing than Marvel/Netflix.

"Fuck Batman" indeed.

I'm sure this is going to ruin someone's childhood but i don't care... it's entertaining, the pacing is solid, the acting isn't bad, the action is violent as hell and well executed, and (so far) it fits within whatever version of the DCU you care to place it if you care about that sort of thing.

Yep. I was wholly a naysayer before I'd seen it, as I've always been a classic TT fan, and was not prepared to accept a more adult-themed version, but DAMN this is solid TV!

On topic and away from old sitcoms...

I finally started watching KIM'S CONVENIENCE (don't know what took me so long, it takes place in my city and stars people I find quite funny)...and it's fantastic. I'm only about halfway thorough S1 so far, but this is just a charming, and off-the-cuff comedy half hour to enjoy.

It's on Netflix for those internationally.

Great show. We're fully caught up to present day and the writing stays strong all the way through.

If you have the room for it, Schitt's Creek is also terrific Canadian TV.
I survived the Permian and all I got was this t-shirt.

I have seen some of Schitt's Creek but not caught up, will definitely keep watching.

Good to know KIM'S stays good throughout!

Schitt's Creek is nothing to write home about. It needs more Chris Elliott.

It's not on Netflix in the US.

Deadly Class

I've read it plays like Harry Potter, except with assassins. I'm not a fan of SyFy's original programming in general, but this one piqued my curiosity.

Any you googly eye'd TV addict, weirdos going to work it into your rotation? yes? no? meh?

[EDIT] I think it debuts on SyFy tonight.

I have big love for the source comic and writer Remender is co-showrunner so i'm in for this.
Only seen half the premiere so far but like - not love, but the feelings could grow.

Watching Project Bluebook Ep 1 now. Fairly interesting at halfway mark.

I'm two eps in. It's very well done.

Well, I'm going to steer well clear of it then, knowing the crap television you like. J/K! Posted Image

I've episode 1 set in my DVR and will have a go. The pessimist in me says I'll be out before the hour is up. But who knows? It may pull me in.

Whoa! This show on TLC called Dr. Pimple Popper is fucking AWESOME! So gross at times though. Makes me thankful I don’t have any of that funky shit going on with me. It’s kinda funny to as the Dr seems to always compare whatever she is taking out with food.

Check out her stuff on youtube then. Mass gunkage.

Have watched that for years. My friend and I have always been fascinated/grossed out by those. Can't stop watching.

Hmm ... different and original (which is difficult these days), so I'll give him that.

I don't think I'll be watching though. Not really my thing.

Still, thanks for putting up the trailer, because when I put 'Killer Mike' in my Netflix search it came up with shit-tins of shows I'd never even heard of, so if nothing else going through all those trailers may unearth a few gems to add to my list. Searching 'Trigger Warning' actually comes up with LESS previously-unheard of shows, so, there you go.

So, not only did Season 3 of The Detectorists not make it to US Netflix, seasons 1, 2 are gone also.

Bollocks.
I've always been crazy but its kept me from going insane.
