Well, stands to reason that it should be, really.

Binged Master of None season 1 weekend before last. I can see why it got love, but not why/how it got SO MUCH love. I'd call it decent, but not great. Has some moments approaching great, but something about it just didn't quite hit the mark for me. Maybe because some of the characters are ... I don't know ... off? Hard to relate to? Grating? I realise that's partly the intent, but it went a bit too far that way for me and didn't work. My that's just IMHO and otherwise the writing was pretty good, acting, direction ditto. I don't think I'll bother with Season 2 though.

On the up side, it did help me finally decide I couldn't live in NY.

Season 2 is better though. Just for the opening episodes with him in Italy. But moreso because the whole season plays out like a diatribe on the MeToo movement (before the MeToo movement got underway), and ties in creepily to the things Ansari himself was accused of. Very unintentionally "meta".

It's a good show and I enjoyed season 2 much more than season 1.

That said, I'm unsure if it will get a S3, and ends in kind of a cliffhangery place, so perhaps it's best not to bother...yet.

Oh snap, Better Call Saul season 4 premiers in one week (Aug. 6). I did not know it was so soon. I'm glad I know now. Excellent show. I wonder how much more of an overlap with BB we'll get to in season 4. Like, will Jimmy make the full transition into scum bag lawyer Saul? Will we see any more BB characters? Maybe a Skinny Pete or Badger sighting? Or *gasp! A Jesse Pinkman sighting?

Agreed. He's on level for me with Yuto Handa for the Tokyo season (the one even the peanut gallery cried when he left). An older, but level-headed guy with traditional values, and sees the good in everyone while also trying to steer the more wayward young people towards a good path. GREAT guy!

I started with the Commodus season, will move onto the Caesar one after...goddamn but this is an entertaining show!

She left to join the ANGEL series, which was 300% better for it. Until the debacle that was S4.

Spike’s storyline thru later seasons of BUFFY varies from excellent to insultingly bad, but he’s overall pretty solid and was all good when he moved to ANGEL too.
