It starts off fantastic. Book readers can and do get frustrated around ep 8. Would be great probably for a non reader

I read the book around 6 or 7 years ago, so only recall the broad strokes.

The first 5 episodes were tight and well done. Last 3 were a bit boring and predictable. Still worth the watch.

Watched episodes 4 & 5 of Magicians season 3. Be the Penny was very funny. A Day in the Life was very cool. I think it ranks up there with Hush from Buffy as one of my all time favorite episodes.

I'm so going to read the books.

I didn't loooove the plot mechanics of the S2 finale, but whatever, roll with the punches, and the season 3 premiere was SO good.

I like some cooking competitions. I used to watch Knife Fight on Esquire Network before the network folded. But I can't stand Bobby Flay. He's really ruined the The Food Network. It seems like the network has fashioned every new show to appease his hubris and need to dominate all the programming. Even the pseudo reboot of Iron Chef seemed to be designed appease his ego. I can't stand Beat Bobby Flay. I really wish the Food Network would bring back some diversity, otherwise they should rename it to "The Bobby Flay Channel"

If it's any help, I BOUGHT the season on iTunes and only made it to Ep 4. It's a BAD adaptation. It focuses in WAY too much on Laura, not enough on Shadow, and the production design (especially the sound design) is ATROCIOUS. Any scene with music AND dialogue is a shitshow.

I can see why people (actors and crew) have been bailing out on it after Season 1, and why Gaiman has refocused his attention over at GOOD OMENS instead.

That's the opposite of any help, since focusing on Laura instead of Shadow is one of the best decisions the showrunners made. And while I usually hate the Tony Scott saturated color thing, this show somehow manages to make it beautiful time after time, especially when things get supernatural.

The show appears to be broken now for external reasons, but there's very little to complain about S1 besides Shadow being more of a dimwit than a cypher.

1st up is Kendall. Location is Peru. Oh cool the date starts out with dune buggies in the desert! Whoa! Sandboards!! Big ole couch they are sitting on. Lots of pillows. They are eating some fabulous looking local cuisine and I want to try it. Kendall is expressing massive doubt and saying she would not accept his proposal if he asked tonight. Will she accept the fantasy suite? Lots of face sucking going on and she has accepted the fantasy suite. Cue the porn music. Ah the morning after. Quite lovely! Arie is on a role. He knows she likes her eggs sunny side up and crispy. She now feels she can accept the proposal. My heart!

Next up is Lauren. Oh they going flying to check out the Nazca Lines! Now a pond side lunch. Lots of emotional conversation going on. Nighttime dinner now. Arie said he loves her. She says she loves him to but is tired of sharing him with 2 other women! She has accepted the fantasy suite. Morning after is going good though not as romantic as Kendall’s was.

Becca up next. Date is sailing on a boat. Titanic moment copied by Becca. Oh cool. Night is on the beach in a huge ass tent. Very romantic setting. Well she just said the L word to Arie and he has said it back. Face sucking. Lots of it. She is melting in his arms and has accepted the fantasy suite. Hope Arie drank his fluids. Oh and the fantasy suite is in the tent on the beach not in a hotel. Boom! Arie just said part of him wants to just call it off and end the night with a proposal right there. I knew their 1st date which was 1st one on one was something special to him. Morning after is going super well. They are on cloud nine. She can’t stop smiling!

OHHHH SHHHHITTT! Becca’s ex just showed up on location stating he was there to take his woman back home!! Oh my! The drama! What is going on? He just went to Aries room. They are speaking now. Oh Arie is pissed off! Ex is going to speak with Becca now. They dated 7 yrs. what will happen? I’m bout to piss myself! Whoa the look on her face! She is in shock. Speaking now trying to win her back. Appears she has rejected his return. Now what will happen on the Arie front? How will this affect their relationship going forward? She is now apologizing to him.

It’s rose time. What’s going to happen? He just pulled Kendall aside! This is the 3rd time doing this and the gals even said something about it. Ah he is sending her home. Don’t kill me either. I thought this was the finale but it will be another week. I can swear they said it was on Women Tell All last night. Type the word Puppy if you actually read this post and show me some love. Just the word or make sure it’s highlighted in a sentence so I can see it. I’m now more hopeful then ever Kendall and her twin sis will get a spot on Paradise.

How will Becca and Lauren do on Aries hometown with his parents? Will they like either? Will they bless one? Will he propose? Will he leave broken hearted? So many questions.
