The order has already been rolled back from 13 episodes to 10 on MR, so don't get hooked.

As far as I know they aren't filmed. The article I read said those last 3 were meant to air in 2016, and episode 10 is the natural half-season finale already. May have to serve as the series finale.

Netflix is bringing Gilmore Girls back for another season. Post below and I will tell you if you are a Dean, a Jess, or a Logan.

I always wanted her to end up with Jess, I liked them the most. Logan was a douche and Dean was more of a building experience relationship.

You are totally a Jess, Nico. No ambivalence whatsoever.

Didn't that guy from Supernatural play in Gilmore Girls?

Just finished watching the Netflix show Bojack Horseman today. What a funny and yet at the same time bleak show! There were lots of laugh out loud moments in every episode but also a whole bunch of really dark bits. Definitely recommend but be warned...

MANHATTAN Season 2 had begun. Super exciting! I still maintain that this is the BEST show that no one is watching.

Caught most of The Last Kingdom first episode last night.

I was recording it but had a peek after it has started, and had to keep watching - it was good, and it put to rest any fears I had about it turning out to be crap.

Loved the way the Danes almost casually made an all but impenetrable three-tier shield wall in the face of advancing Saxons, with no fuss or bellowing.. just well practiced veterans. Scary.

We should probably start a thread about this.. anyone else watch it yet?
So that's the story. And what was the real lesson? Don't leave things in the fridge.

Yup. And I agree with all of the above!

I was warned by a friend who watched it in advance that "it's been made for the Game of Thrones audience" so I was expecting the gore and violence to be silly, but it was much better than I expected in the wake of that comment! Good stuff!

The lead doesn't look like Uhtred as Cornwell describes him (hair the colour of healthy yellow piss) in the books...otherwise the series looks great!

And they had BETTER not screw up Brida. She was my fave character other than Ragnar in book 1.

Though I'll wager I'll have to wait to see it here in Canada. Boo.

Never heard of it. Must be a Euro only show I guess

It's a BBC show based on Bernard Cornwell's Saxon books.

I saw some of the first episode today. It actually wasn't bad, but I feel that the several comparisons with GoT and Vikings is unfair. I don't feel like it's comparable at all. I like both GoT and Vikings, though I feel the latter is the superior of the two. But The Last Kingdom seems good too, only it has a different pacing and, I feel, a somewhat entirely different goal.

I'm going to watch the rest later, but I think it'll be a keeper.
Screw you all, and have a nice day!

I'll probably get flak for it, but I agree that VIKINGS is superior to GoT.

Oh god. Gilmore Girls annoys me sooooo badly. Partly because I can't not watch it when it is on and partly because of Rory's HORRIFIC taste in men. Dean was a total wuss, Jess was hardly ever nice to her and having a boyfriend who calls you "Ace" is the most patronising thing in the history of being patronised. I'm angry just thinking about it. Totally going to watch the new shows though because I need to know if Lorelai and Luke end up together. And if Rory ended up trapped in the abusive relationship she deserves.

Rory getting a great boyfriend wouldn't make for good tv tho.

I'm with you on that - I haven't watched Vikings but I don't really understand the comparison to GoT. It seems a much more sophisticated sort of violence and death in The Last Kingdom, for one.
