Eureka last night was pretty entertaining.
I liked the ancient egyption tie-in, although the stupid commercials are pissing me off (deoderant).
Hmm Hmm Hmm... I wonder what the next episode is going to be, and what is with the radiation and the cryptic lock... did evil crazy old bitch find some sort of alien thing with that lock on it and the funny radiation? Where she wants to 'build her hotel'?

I'm watching it tonight...yay for teh internets!!
Are talking about in-show product placement? That sort of advertisement, or just the abundance of regular commercials on the TV? I don't watch shows on normal TV anymore...too annoying.

There is a little bit of in-show product placement, but then they take the actor from the show, and he is like 'here in eureka, shit happens, I stay cool using this deoderant' in an actual commercial.
Kind of annoying.

I'm slightly annoyed that Fox have put Sarah Connor on at the same time as Heroes and Monday Night Football. There's just no way it's going to compete with those two and will probably end up getting cancelled .

heroes season 3 seems to be going downhill fast, they are bringing in new characters, but instead of new powers, we have a bunch of reused abilities again. mostly ones taken from sylars abilities in the first series. poo

What's up with House's new private eye buddy? Is he gonna be around all season, do you think? I kinda like how they're working together so far; it's better than Wilson just being pushed around all the time.

Anybody watch the Tudors besides me? I checked it out from the lib and really enjoyed it. The second season should be pretty fantastic.
Lots of gratuitous sex scenes though, which doesn't bother me one little bit.

Just finished watching season 2 of the Tudors - brutal! I thought it was great - the actors playing Thomas Moore and Cromwell are just excellent. Apart from the almost obligatory sex scenes, and the fact that Henry isn't remotely ginger, it has been a great series so far... historically very accurate too, especially the swift downfall of Anne. If you haven't seen it, check it out.
Can't wait for series 3 now!

I was until the last episode, which was all over the place in terms of characterization and was so full of infodumps it felt like the writers had no idea what the word 'dialogue' meant. Such a sea change in Anna Torv's character - from icy composure to driven and out of control was just too much, especially with only the flimsy excuse of it being her birthday. If the event was that traumatising, it would have affected her personality in previous episodes too.

I've been watching whatever season of Scrubs is on at the moment. (The one where JD has a kid). Any idea which season this is? Very good, whatever.
Although... does anyone else think that it refers to race too much? It just seems to stand out a bit to me... they constantly refer to white this, black that, like it's trying so hard to show that race isn't an issue that it makes a big issue out of it. It just seems a bit weird, as other tv shows with black actors don't constantly feel the need to remind everyone that, yes, he's black, and we're all so cool with it, really, we'll just keep bringing it up. Or is it nothing like that?
I wouldn't have even thought of it as an issue if it wasn't such a strong part of the program. I don't know how this comes over in the US... any thoughts?

It's all in good fun. Supposedly many of the facial jokes they use are taken from real life conversations between the actors playing JD and Turk, who are actually close friends.

I currently love watching the ridiculous Saturday evening BBC1 show "Hole In The Wall". C-list celebrities dress in silver spandex and helmets and have to jump through a wall with strange shaped holes in it travelling towards them at high speed before it knocks them into a pool of water. Yes, it was originally Japanese.
