Finally caught up with Chuck on my DVR. This is one of those shows that just got funnier and funnier over time. The finale did not disappoint. I'm going to miss this show. One word: Jeffster.

All up to date on ALCATRAZ and i am really, really enjoying this show, even with the criminal-of-the-week elements. The over-plot is prominent, the mysteries are interesting, and while they aren't quite hitting high levels of subtlety, they manage not to telegraph everything and have even surprised me a few times (immortal doctors, guards as well as inmates appearing, the bugnuts warden...). Even Jorge Garcia is managing to not seem like Hurley from LOST after a career change.
That being said... SPOILERS LATEST EP SPOILERS the black, friendly, just-introduced-for-this-episode bomb disposal dude that all the ladies slobbered over could not have been more clearly going to die if his name was 'Gonnadie'.
I wavered, but ok, JJ, you got me, now take me somewhere good.

Someone should totally write an episode with a guest role named Redshirt McGonnadie.
OK, I think I got it, but just in case, can you say the whole thing over again? I wasn't really listening.

Jesus. Everyone here, go watch The River. I'm enjoying it more than most of the fringe episodes this season, to be honest.
Also, Walking Dead! Wooooh.
And Comic Book Men. A show from a podcast, about a bunch of nerds running a comic book store. I enjoyed it.

God I love Archer. It has a similar (but better) feel to frisky dingo, the 15 minute show that was on Adult Swim for 2 seasons. Written by the same guy, animated by the same company. Both hilarious, imo.

This is becoming a thing again... on an ep from H5-0 from a few weeks ago, a black security guard tells his single young dude partner that he's celebrating his 25th wedding anniversary with his wife by taking their first trip in years. Black security dude is dead 45 seconds later. I swear, it's like a tv time warp. agaaaAAAaaaain.

Drunk Slow Ben (again) says your post is invalid as it excludes the phrases "Archer" "Will check out" Will look into" "thank you SB for suggesting such an excellent choice" and has been flagged as spam.
PS- FYI, if my computer didn't have auto correct, thits post would probably be ineligible.

Just love Lost Girl, loving season 2 and now it has been reunewed (?sp) for season 3, hard to believe Canada can get such a weird on (maybe not so surprising about Toronto though where it takes place - lol). Couldn't find a topic on this show, if you can get by the succubus thing and occasional part nudity in the first season, it has really good monsters/mythical creatures.

Bought SHERLOCK Series 2 on iTunes last night and watched both A SCANDAL IN BELGRAVIA and THE HOUNDS OF THE BASKERVILLE (I love Gatiss' clever, and subtle name change from the original story)...both top notch...but SCANDAL was Steven Moffat firing on literally ALL cylinders. It was amazing from minute-one till the credits rolled. I have one more to watch this weekend. God what a phenomenal show!

It's still a bit early to say Grimm has fully kicked into gear and that gear is a high one as good as Supernatural or Fringe. However, the last few weeks the show has consistently delivering B+ to A episodes each time out. The preview for the next episode looks like another A episode.
The overarching plot is starting to move, Nick has gotten meaner and smarter about his Grimmness and the monsters/gore is steadily ratcheting up in visual splendor. Bitsy Tulloch is starting to get my heartstrings every single time she appears onscreen too. Best "girlfriend of superhero" I've seen in a while.
I'm somewhat tempted to see how Once Upon A Time is doing, but I suspect that Teresa Jusino over on Tor.com is still giving it full marks for atrocious episodes. Unless some of you tell me, I'm not gonna know.

In the span of about a day I have consumed all 13 episodes of Series 1 of BBC's MERLIN...and I'm enjoying it so much (like seriously on par with DOCTOR WHO in my fandom) that I immediately logged onto iTunes and bought Series 2 & 3. It's fun, cleverly written and an absolute blast to watch....addictive theme music...REALLY quality special effects for a TV show (almost better than WHO)...and two other things...
Katie Mcgrath (Morganna)
Michelle Ryan (Nimueh)
Sweet gods, both of these women are drop, dead gorgeous. Like "luscious" is how I think I described them the first time.
Plus I think both the male leads for Merlin and Arthur do a stellar job. Also, Arthur has affected a sword-twirl before he goes into battle that immediately calls to mind Obi-Wan Kenobi...and that can only be a good thing.
Great show, if you aren't watching you should be.
Oh, and Giles is Uther! Giles! It is more awesome than you'd think. He's an angry ass on this show. It's excellent.

I've been doing a bit of a catch up on GRIMM seeing as people here have said it's been improving. And it is surprisingly enjoyable, after a few wobbly episodes early on.
I've only watched as far as episode 8 so far, so hopefully it continues to improve like Amphibian says above. I'm curious to see how much of the long story they will unfold before the end of the first season (and what that long story will ultimately be?).
