I need to watch the last episode again. But really looking forward to Season 4! Loving this show, rivalling BSG for best recent SF drama (will have to see how GoT fares in S2 before we can really say whether it can join the party).

As for the newniverse, i always expected a revelation that Walternate's experiments' caused the breach and Walter's rescue of Peter was just Walternate's excuse. It loooks like they aren't going that route, so i'm very curious to see how this plays out.

The writers are clearly conscious of the Box O' Paradox they've opened, so i look fwd to how they resolve it.

You know, my first impression of the last ep was that

The universe Peter visited was another alternate dimension, paired with yet a fourth, as I've been expecting ever since the parallel universe theory became the explanation for Walternate's dimension. Peter's experiences in that timeline would still (to an extent) be relevant, as the parallel worlds would interact in the same way as the original paired worlds, and so he could expect the same result from any lack of resolution in his own pair. His merging of the two universes back in his own universe (well, you know what I mean) need not have any repercussions on that timeline. But I need to watch again cos I'm sure there's something wrong with that theory.

Yeah, totally - he's brilliant. One of my friends stopped watching a few eps into season 1 because he thought the character was puerile. I haven't forgiven him

Okay, I bought Season 3 on Saturday morning, and watched all 22 episodes over the weekend in a marathon and it blew me away.

Whoever said that FRINGE really hits its stride in Season 3 was bang on, the mix of Parallel Universe Eps and Our Universe Eps made for a really interesting narrative arc all season, and less standalone episodes made it even better.

The finale was mind-fuckingly awesome, and I can't even speculate on

where exactly Peter is, or what exactly the Observer meant, or even what this all means for the rest of the folk

but I know I was hooked and I am now prepared to watch Season 4 as it airs with all you other chumps.

Oh, and does anyone else actually LIKE Alt-Charlie and Alt-Linc? I think they are badass.

What a fantastic show! Fucking love it.

One thing: That episode with the short wave radio aficionado's and the "numbers that have existed forever"...anyone else notice that the LOST Numbers are mixed in there. It's not exact as the Numbers....but it was enough to make me quirk my head and check the LOST numbers out. Which leads me to my fave cameo in Season 3, Jorge Garcia as a security monitor guard getting stoned with Walter was PRICELESS.....as was LSD Cartoon world episode.

Yah, Lincoln-blue was a CIA... FBI... NSA... something else agent, as opposed to Homeland Security Fringe Division head honcho badass in the redniverse who wants to jump Fauxlivia's bones while she's mid-childbirth that sick fuck.

I like Charlie-red, mostly because i liked the original character, his death was shockingly random, and am glad they found a way to bring him back.

I love Lincoln, he's my clear favourite male character. For ages I though he was the red analogue of the mind-control guy (the one who helped Olivia and everyone cross over together with other school mates and then got killed on the red side).

I don't think they showed us it in the flashforward only to not use it though, perhaps without Peter in the Blueniverse she concentrated more on her powers? I totally see them using it though.

That would depend on whether she even knows she has powers in the New Blueniverse. Walter never having rescued Peter-Red, he may have never experimented on her. Fauxlivia didn't have them.

The clips from Season 4 show Blueniverse Walter in his Harvard lab making flying rats and stuff, I think it's a good bet he's probably an even madder scientist without Peter.

Just finished the premier. Awesome!!!! And did anyone notice the music at the end. That was totally the ending for Lost episodes . And I spotted the butterfly and the leaf symbols in the episode. Gods I love this show.

I'm curious how the animosity between Red and Blue is gonna work out.

Walternate is obviously still interested in doing something to the Blue-verse. But the question is what? We can assume that both realities are no longer falling apart, and they are in the process of healing. So whats Walternates game? Peter was never stolen, so whats the driving force.

I'm wondering if the arc of the season is going to center around the Observers and we're going to see them in more and more primary roles. How is peter coming back going to affect the "yellow-verse" timeline?

Basically every plot point is changed, the producers found a way to renew every single relationship. I'm intrigued, and I think we're never going to see the "original" timeline again. Peter's return (if it occurs) will probably not alter the existing past.

This is gonna be one HELL of a season.
