Am I the only one who was thinking "Little Shop of Horrors" during that episode before last? And then this week, Walter was amazing...he's freaking crazy!

God this series is so hit and miss. For me there is something just missing, I don't quite believe the characters or what they do, i find the ideas a little vague the science just that little bit too far fetched. It's almost as if you threw all the ingredients for a cake into a bowl and expected it to taste like cake, that's how I feel about this series.
Joshua Jackson is still too Dawsons Creek for me, which is a shame cos he isn't a terrible actor
I don't really like the main character, she can't quite act well enough to carry the show and I just don't beleive in her as a character
You gotta love walter though.

I quite liked the Razor Butterflies of Doom...but I kind of agree with you Cougar - it doesn't quite work at the moment. Dunham's personality seems different every episode, and I find it kind of strange that it has taken them this long to suspect Massive Dynamics. Still, the pseudoscience is entertaining, and Walter is amazing, so I'll give it a bit more time. The one episode I liked most of all was the one with the baldy, so if and when they start to get into the story arc episodes, I'm hoping I'll enjoy it.

The suicide assassin razor butterflies of doom were awesome. Best hullucinogenic attack animal ever. The frogs were slightly less scary. I bet Jean could take them in a fight.
I'm thinking they're going with a 'digitized consciousness' think with Olivia's dead ex.
- Abyss, has had exes like that...

So did anyone else catch the foreshadowing in the last episode?
I guess people's guesses about Asteroid were right
.
Apart from that, I really enjoyed the rest of tonight's episode. Not sure what creepy British man wants with Dunham so much that he ordered her abducted..guess we'll just have to wait and see. As for the rest, we had the memory bleeds, we had some teleportation, we had Massive Dynamics up to some tricks, we had Walter and Peter's backstory expanded slightly...most enjoyable. Hopefully they'll continue to move away from the mystery of the week storylines and keep the long term arcs moving now
.

...of course, that's assume Jean isn't behind the whole thing. She WAS there when it all went down, after all.
- Abyss, suspicious.

Jean... appeared in the second or third ep and has been a constant presence in the Harvard lab ever since.
Somewhat suspicious looking. Guard's Walter's stash of drugs. Provides a supply of suspicious white substance....
C'mon, it's Jean, dammit, she's the cornerstone of the whole cast!!!
- Abyss, honestly, wonders if you even watch the show....

Oh, that Jean! Yeah, I think she's definitely a prime suspect
. I haven't seen her around all that much in recent episodes though...

Getting caught up on the new year's eps...
Giant evil spiked slugs in your digestive tract = BEST assassination technique EVER. Even better than imaginary razor butterflies.
But the six fingered hand computer screen brain fuck episode was unforgiveably lame on all fronts especially the Peter/Olivia unrequited romance bull.
Fortunately, suicidal berserker wereporcipines and two sessions of Olivia in the underwear-mandatory-brain-scanner device AND Walter experimenting on a poor defenceless watermelon were an acceptable recovery.
I love this show. It makes me happy.
- Abyss, wants to be a mad scientist when he grows up.

I quite liked the orifice-closing toxin, very creepy
. The show has been improving since Christmas, though I'm a little bummed about it going on hiatus.

Thats fucking low.
The show was fast becoming one of my favorites. The episode with the child that could play awesome piano was when it turned for me.
But April? I'll lose interest, I think.

Yeah, it is fucking low. It's cuz FOX doesn't have room for anything else in their precious American Idol time slots, which takes up 3 goddamn prime time hours a week.
God forbid they just move the show to a different day.

Seriously, someone should just plant a giant spiked bacterial assassin slug in Simon and move on.... who cares about wannabe popstars, GIVE ME MY MAD SCIENTISTS YOU CORPORATE NETWORKS BASTARDS!!!!!
That last ep was nuts. teleporting german guy is just evil. It all wetn a bit too Alias at times, but the orifice thing was gross/awesome and ffs, what was Walter doing to Jean at the beginning?!?!?!?
- Abyss, ....Apr 7..... fuck.

This waiting until April because of that worthless American Idol is pissing me off. They better make up for this with a slow camera pan across Olivia's naked backside. Then I would consider it worth the wait. And then Walter explains what he does with his cow.
