October:
4 Manchester City (a)
18 Wigan Athletic (h)
25 Chelsea (a)
29 Portsmouth (h)
November:
1 Tottenham Hotspur (a)
8 West Bromwich Albion (h)
15 Bolton Wanderers (a)
22 Fulham (h)
29 West Ham United (h)
December:
6 Blackburn Rovers (a)
13 Hull City (h)
20 Arsenal (a)
26 Bolton Wanderers (h)
28 Newcastle United (a)
January:
10 Stoke City (a)
17 Everton (h)
27 Wigan Athletic (a)
31 Chelsea (h)
February:
7 Portsmouth (a)
21 Manchester City (h)
28 Middlesbrough (a)
March:

May:

A reasonably soft finish which should help a last burst for the title (optimistic much?)

ETA: predictions, likely to change on transfer action obviouly
Totenham to give better performance, securing Uefa football, via the league, City and evertont o keep pushing the top 4.
Chelsea to be the trailer of the 4, then arsenal then pool and united scum to be battling for the title.

West Brom and Fulham, nice easy start.

Im fairly confident about next season, we had Eduardo Rosicky and RVP out for most of this one and still only lost the title by 4 points. With Man U losing Ronaldo, Chelsea possibly losing Drogba and a few others, and Liverpool being managed by Benitez, it should be a close thing.

I cant see him staying after saying things like "I love playing in all white" though.

As for RVP, he'd fail any medical Im sure, scuppering any chance of a move. We cant even manage to shift Hleb atm, and he WANTS to go, so there's no chance of him leaving too. ;) :D

dont have to pass medical to move, and ronaldo was "sure to move" after the world cup as well, I take the hype with a large pinch of salt is all.

Bentley off, Santa Cruz rumoured to go, and Hughes off to Citeh. Not a happy time to be a Blackburn fan, I imagine.

Ronaldo is staying for this season at least... He should stay, to be properly integrated into the team. If he and others stay another few seasons, the team as a whole will be nigh on unbeatable...

Well we have an entertaining time at the KC - kicking off with Fulham, and last day at home to Man U - target is 17th but even if only one season in the top flight will have been a great experience - and Phil Brown is a canny chap so will be interesting. We have Man City away on Boxing day so that could be a good Christmas trip.

and to top it off, our new manager could be either long ball sam... *cry* or the wally in a brolly... yes they actually interviewed him. hope we get someone else :S

dont mind bently going if we get the right £££ for him though. a club with a few million in the bank is much more likely to attract an outside investor than the tuppence we have now

I can't wait to see how Hull do this year... Should be hilarious. Out of the 3 teams that came up this year, I imagine that Stoke and Hull will go straight back down. Most likely WBA as well, though I would say they are the team that stand more of a chance then the other two...

Why do you think that?:lachen70:

He might stay, but it will be against his wishes. I can see him languishing in the reserves for most of the season if they don't sell him...

I figure Big Sam is the most likely replacement for Sparky. Which will no doubt herald the arrival of such massive players as... no, wait :(

WBA had the best chance of staying up, but Gera has gone to Fulham now, and Phillips looks like he's off too. I see it as a 4- or 5-way scrap between the three promoted teams, Fulham and Bolton, and possibly Wigan and Sunderland. Of those, Sunderland, Wigan and Bolton will probably be ok. Megson is a mediocre manager, but he normally gets things done, just about.
I'm officially writing off Hull and Stoke right now, unless they make a number of very canny signings (and that doesn't include serial-demoters like Henri Camara). I hope to be proved wrong though :(

Mmmm, ok :(

Don't get me wrong, it's possible he might stay, if United simply refuse to sell him, but he wants to go.

I don't think he wants to leave per se I think he might want to go to Real at some stage but I could see him sticking around for 1 more season, it seemed far more likely at the same stage of the 2006 pre-season that he would leave and he never did.
