I will put up the sign ups and look at starting the game on monday. That way if Shin comes on and wants to run his then the sign ups can be transfered over to his game.
How many fucking people do I have to hammer in order to get that across.

If we can get the numbers over the winter holidays, Taps and I'll be happy to run the BR game next. Hopefully people will be free enough, and drunk enough, to play. 16 peeps minimum for this badboy. Certain...perks for those who play.

Please put me up for a 16 player King Arthur faction game (4 sides). It is going to be a relatively slow game, and it is going to be unlike anything I designed so far.

Oh, high tmdi, of course - but no recruitment, so an 8. Or 10, regardless....
co-mod required, still in design stage.

That's why I haven't put a sign-up, er, up yet. Figuring after the new year is best.

I begged for and got rights to edit and pin posts here on the mafia forum.
I'll be using those to help Ment to restore the OP here to a semblance of accuracy in the next week or so.

In addition to that, I will also try and provide a Malazan Mafia 101 FAQ that is actually useful for new players without having to go through heaps of inside-jokes, feuds, back-slapping and numerous references to games people can't even read back on on these forums.

JA made one totally brilliant post on strategy which I will definately use.
The main goal is not to provide a strategy/play guide (although I might try that as an expansion) but I do want to provide insight into the game as well as provide a glossary with commonly used terms and description of standard (and exotic) roles that's easy to find and easy to use for new players. Modding the past few games where we had a high number of new players shows there is definately some need for clarification.

We have a much cleaner schedule :w00t:

I kinda love it when D'rek unleashes her nerd wrath, as I knew she would here. Sorry innocent bystanders, but someone's gotta be the kindling.

Survivor's not ready yet, either. I can put some work into getting it ready but I am really putting it to a vigorous standard.

And to be honest, I don't want to run if it we're going to have tons of inactivity. It's one game that basically requires significant participation.

Mafia X: Rot3K Chapter 6 - The Conquest of Wu/Jing <> D'rek(GMT-5)

Since the Huang Zhong faction achieved their secondary conditions in Chapter 5, this game will not take place and can be deleted.

Quote

Mafia X: Rot3K Chapter 7 - The End of the Three Kingdoms <> D'rek(GMT-5) <> TMDI 16

This game needs to be changed to be Chapter 6 instead of 7. It can't take place until after the minis have been run.

Quote

Mafia X.1: [mini - can be played earlier] Rot3K Tales: The Stalwart Ma Teng (fast) <> D'rek
Mafia X.1: [mini - can be played earlier] Rot3K Tales: The Nanman Rebellion (long) <> D'rek

I can finish up one of these pretty quick and run it soon.

But maybe someone else should run something else in the meantime, and I'll start one of my minis in early Feb?

Oh fuck it. I could run my Rome re-run (see Mafia 36 if I am not mistaken), this time slightly more balanced and no fighting within factions.

However, mod updates would be infrequent (say, twice a day).

@Tapper - I concur with your assessment that the 'special status' granted to shelved games should be removed. Consider that one green-lighted. Good work on sorting things out in there, btw. :p

Also, can you put me down for a potential Dresden Files themed game, probably nothing like Obdi's one but same theme. I'm on a freaking Dresdencrack-fueled rampage at the moment. Though not sure when I will be able to run it. Got back from my holiday later than anticipated and have uni start of March...

Oh, and my two minis...preeeeeeety sure the Silence of the Lambs one ended up being run. In fact, really sure. But the Devil's Advocate game got turned into CFUM and combined with a bucketload of other insanity, so that can stay. Though again, when I run that is uncertain, so shelve it please - I'll run Dresden before I run that. :p

Dammit. I haven't even started playing yet and I'm planning to run some games again. Guess the addiction really hadn't worn off at all. Just lying dormant, waiting to consume me once more! D:

One of my Rot3K minis is ready to go whenever. After Tapper's current game would work fine.
