All I ask is that it not be a game where I has to do the maths. I hate maths.

The low posting really irks me, so when I thought I was lynched this game because of low-posting I thought of a game where there are very great advantages to those guys who spam and generally post a lot. The idea came from the spysat(?) game in which you could lvl up by posting ...
Do you guys think such a game is possible to balance/creat? Do you think it would be fun to play?
*By advantages I mean vigs/BPs/LPs/recruit/whateverelseyoucanthinkof

The problem is that people will spam. But I am happy to think along.

My timezone sucks for the start of mafia games. I go to bed when most of the games start, and Tuesdays (Monday night for everyone else) are my busiest day of the week, meaning I do not have internet access until Wednesday morning.
I've been modkilled twice, and barely made it before modkill a third time. This is bullshit, because I'll never be able to play mafia again with what has become the "standard" start time of games.
Suggestions or thoughts, please, because this aint fair.

I've got an idea that is probably a one game solution but could be interesting. It would require fairly intense mod involvement and coverage. I'd need a Eurozone and Pacific Rim co-mods. Maybe even 2 Pacific Rim, 1 east and 1 west. Or people whose work/life schedule would match up to those time zones seeing as how the whole idea is to allow the >GMT+8 to have a better game experience.
Of those, somebody with vast design experience and incredible fun injector would be needed. Since I'm not too good at either.
At the moment I think it would be TMDI -5ish.

Apologies for the nostalgia bait...
Hey all, long time no see. At least a year. Looks like the last time I was here was March 2012. Last thing I participated in (in which I wasn't modkilled for non-participation) was when I ran Survivor: Mafia All-Stars, which was back in April - May 2011. That game did something to me. I put so much into it. 35 days long, modded 100% by me. I felt like I never could repeat that feat again. Don't know that I'd ever want to.
Good to see a lot of the old regulars still around, as well as lots of new faces. I've changed jobs in the last year and have a lot more flexibility to play or help mod now. Would like to run one again when there's a spot to do so (and after I've gotten my sea legs).
See y'all soon I s'pose?

PB!! Welcome back, man! Good to see you around these parts again If you feel like testing the waters by playing in a game, there's no time like the present. We've got a good old-fashioned TMDI 10+ game happening hopefully next week, that should bring you back up to speed gently enough
Edit: Hehe, just seen you signed yourself up already, awesome!
P.S. Hope you've managed to sneak a peek at the Mafia 100 game - Survivor was one of the games honoured there and had with a mechanism which played a large part in 100.

Heh, yeah, couldn't help myself. It looked super complicated so I said hook it up =) Plus it needed people.
I haven't had any chance to go back and look at old games, but I'll gladly check out M100 to see ^.^

FYI, I had been hoping Espers II would be ready for a late summer run, but it's looking less and less likely now. Characters, OP, espers, scenes... all of that has been written and finalized since April. But I'm having a sort of writer's block with setting up the mod-side tools and how I want to have things resolved. The whole system had become so big and unwieldly that I tossed all the templates in a folder and hit delete. I need to let it sit for a few weeks and then start the resolution tools over again with fresh eyes and ideas. So I highly doubt it'll be ready by end of summer, more like mid-fall I think (and that's if things work out this time).

I did a revision of Sengoku because I decided I liked the idea of following a different storyline better than my original idea AND after this TMDI 10+ game I thought people would appreciate a lot TMDI affair. I have modified Sengoku 4 to be a simpler (not simple) town/scum game from the original faction workup. I quite like it, because the balance is a little better. I can go next if there are no objections with the plan of mid-July start (post Codex game).
You’ve never heard of the Silanda? … It’s the ship that made the Warren of Telas run in less than 12 parsecs.

Ahem, my Dresden game is still ready-ish to go, assuming certain people have gotten the paperback of cold days?
My Ideal start time would be somewhere between Sept 9th and Oct 21st or so.

So if they could manage to finish the Alera game sometime this week you'd be starting Sengoku on the 22nd or 23rd?
Very nice. Do you have any North American assistant to help keep the time updates, vote counts etc. ? If not I will do it.

I was one of those waiting for Cold Days in paperback, but I was able to check it out from the library instead. G2G on my end.

My game still needs work. JLV was the last person working on it with me. Maybe ready for Fall.

I need a Euro Comod, and/or someone willing to look over WoK 2 and help balance it, but I have WoK 1.5, a low TMDI game, ready to go whenever.

I'm Euro and can co-mod - though I wouldn't be confident in helping with the game balance. T'would be a shame to miss playing in a WoK game, but I'm looking to start getting my modding experience up, plus I'm getting a bit burnt out from the constant heart attack which is playing mafia.

Great! I need to work on balancing Kaladin's sheer awesomeness with making the game fair, so the game probably won't run for a bit longer, but it's great to know the game won't have any gaps in coverage with the co-mod being the only player to be in control of multiple alts at once in more than one game, and actually manage to not low post any of them.
(I seriously can't comprehend how you managed to do that in both Zombies and Alera, and not once mess up and post from the wrong alt in response to a question. I've done it with only one alt posting out of the mafia boards!)
