Tapper's game sounds really interesting - always looking forward to those ones!
Aside from my Timelords Game (which is ready to go whenever), I am working on a game that's based on Codex Alera books by Jim Butcher. It'll be a faction game, but there will be some twists and such, and I'm attempting a very creative role. But anyway, taste of things to come, gonna be a great few months, I think!

I'm going to go ahead and be foolishly optimistic and say I should have enough time to finally think about running my Sharpe game in the summer, like July/August.

I'll be up for running my Vorkosigan game in mid-October, when I get laid-off for the season.
Just thought I'd toss that out there. TMDI about 8 or so, maybe 9. Hopefully we'll still have some players around - I'll need about 13-14 minimum, preferably a couple more, but I could run it with 30 if needed.

I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

I'm planning a Game of Thrones themed game, put me down on the unknown status list. I'll let y'all know when it's ready.

Heh, that would be a ridiculous game, but likely hilarious.
I might use part of your signup quote for signups for my Codex Alera game. It would be interesting to see how the teams would end up working out.

Khell and I are cooking up a high TMDI game. Could use an experienced mod to shoot down the too off the wall shit, tell us if it will even work, etc. time frame isn't much of an issue. We'd rather a fun quality game at a later date than something so so sooner.
I say cook it and bring in the reviewer later.

Would be my pleasure, but as D'rek says: cook first so it is your own game, then bring in the reviewer.
We passed the first hurdle which is Silencer saying it's technically possible. And besides needing a reviewer, we'll need another co-mod; the nature of the game requires mod coverage 24 hours a day. Not necessarily asking for help with that just yet. Khell and need to get it closer before we start cooking. Thank, xeixei, merci, gracias, danke, spasibo. Once Khell is off vacation, we'll start working out the right questions to ask.
This got knocked off kilter by Khell's astonishing ability to shoot holes in ideas I hadn't yet designed to patch the last set of holes. And then the mind melting menagerie that was 100.
But hope springs eternal. That's why it was the last and greatest curse Pandora released.

OK, I officially can't keep things simple.
An upate about the Renaissance Iliad game:
it is now no longer a Renaissance theme.
Instead, it is a Western game (I went through the Deadlands rpg books a couple of weeks ago and was struck by its awesomeness and on how it would fit so amazingly). And now, it does feature (dice) poker as well.
There are 4 roles per faction (6 each), all of whom that can each be upgraded during play. There's magic, guns, demon summoning, voodoo, big hats, Indians, undead and outlaws.
And instead of upgrading, there's also the possibility of getting a Hero role - but those I am still designing so will probably not fit into the first game. This weekend, the first roles will go up for review to my awesomesauce helpers.

Also it could be pretty rough on anyone newer, since the people who've been playing together a lot would be more likely to group up together, leading to a bit of an imbalance.

The low posting really irks me, so when I thought I was lynched this game because of low-posting I thought of a game where there are very great advantages to those guys who spam and generally post a lot. The idea came from the spysat(?) game in which you could lvl up by posting ...
Do you guys think such a game is possible to balance/creat? Do you think it would be fun to play?
*By advantages I mean vigs/BPs/LPs/recruit/whateverelseyoucanthinkof

Sengoku update.
The next chapter is ready to run (I think I mentioned that somewhere already)
However, I'm currently finishing up two papers (hopefully) for publication, and job hunting at the same time, so the earliest I can imagine running it would be mid to late July.

So if shin runs sengoku in mid to late July could I claim the mid august time slot? That's the only time I'll really have to invest time in modding as I have pre-season sports camp starting sometime near the beginning of september.
