Uh, Lish and Grief be up for a mini, and then Lish again for a full game, too.

Cancel that full game, I meant to say ages ago :) I'll need to talk to Grief about running the mini, we should probably look over the set-up and stuff again, it's been a while.

That's what I thought too, but then I noticed the game list in the first post

Running games/open signups:

Mafia 46: alt146 (GMT +2) DiBs (GMT) Monastery murders TMDI 6.

Planned/discussed/expected games:

Mafia 46.5: Lisheo (GMT) and Grief (GMT) - Deepgate Codex mini, merc + cult, 16 players max.
Mafia 47: Lisheo, TMDI 6, looking for a co-mod.
Mafia 47.5: Sixty (EST) and Mentalist (EST), Lies of Locke Lamora merc. TMDI 7, 14 players.
Mafia 48: Morgoth (GMT +2) and Vengeance (GMT -5) TDMI 6 / City of Saints and Madmen

erm
well, Lish is supposed to run his mini now.

if not, and if Sixty can run Lies as a merc mini, we do that.

Morgy's cities is right after that.

Since Lish is cancelling his full game, it might be worth doing Morgo's City game before Sixty/Ment's mini, just to keep the game-size fluctuating. 2 minis in a row and if both are limited # of players could be sad for people who get into neither

Right, going to PM Grief now, will I open sign-ups?

By the way, this is a fairly high TMDI mini; factions with different numbers of players; most players will be powered, so it could take a bit longer than the average mini.

To reiterate: I probably won't be able to run the merc mini since I'm out of the country with intermittent web access from the 23rd of june to late july. So unless the game starts a decent time before then so someone else can mod, it'll have to wait until I get back. =/

Right, Star Trek Mafia, we were running it on modcraft but the amount of potential modkills going up to four which was a third of players meant that it was decided by me the mod and the players that it should be called a draw and replayed here where we are garanteed players that can play.

At the moment the game will take 12 to 15 players.

The mods listed for this game at the moment are me and grief, I don't mind waiting till a spot comes up I just want this game which has an interesting mechanic that me and another player (ghost of emira) worked out (sabotage), to be played so as to see if this mechanic will be useful one to include in future games or be an one off.

Okay...I know this seems premature...arrogant even, as I have only been playing for two minutes, but I would love to try my hand at running a game. I have two ideas, the first one is a really simple M&P (curse* :broody: you General King for making me look like I pinched your idea :killingme: ....I didn't honest) based on Star Trek TOS, the other is a merc game based on the Arthurian legends, but would definately need time/help in game development, because my ideas on that one seem a bit wierd to my untrained eye...but that could be a good thing, no?

I realise there is a massive queue for games, which is why I am asking to be listed now. It should mean I get a lot more experience before I get to run the games and I should also be clearer on my work commitments (did I mention I have a new job? :)). So is that okay....um if I do manage to become proficient enough to run a game I would love a co-mod...pretty please?

*General King - I jest, I don't curse you really, because I'm not like that...but I really did have my game planned before your post...scouts honour...well brownie's honour.

I knew it, you all hate me! :)

Seriously, General King was first with his Star Trek idea, so I'll bin that no problem (especially as I quite fancy playing GK's game), but I would like to run a really simple M&P later in the year (will think of a nice - non distracting theme), and then after a bit of development my King Arthur merc game (I have some fiendish ideas, but it will only be a mini - 16 players is a mini, no?)...can I? Please? Pretty please?
'Tell me, Tool, what dominates your thoughts?'
The Imass shrugged before replying. 'I think of Mafia, Adjunct.'
'Do all Imass think about Mafia?'
'No. Few think at all.'
'Why is that?'
The Imass leaned his head to one side and regarded her. 'Because, Adjunct, they are sheeple.'

Sometimes I wonder, "Why is that frisbee getting bigger?" ... and then it hits me.

That first one wasn't even on this page of the thread... someone should've added a while back i guess. So, you still want to do a M&P, but no-longer ST-themed, and then later you wanna do the King Arthur merc? So be it, though you may want to rearrange the schedule later when more games are on the list since otherwise you'll have two almost back-to-back...
