I'd do it, as I need a mafia break to get a wholelotta stuff done, but i'm waht's basically same timezone as you.
so I guess i'll have no choice but to submit by brain to yeat another meatgrinder setup. Can't be worse than the volcano game, right?
RIGHT?

Hey Obdi, I would be up for comodding for you if you want, even though I am still rather a noob. I am at GMT so not really opposite you but I am up at strange times... (that's what Uni does to you )

The rules and what you are trying to do will be more clear.
There will be twists, and some changes to basic game setup just to make you, and only you, gnash your teeth.
Impirion, I will send you my setup stuff closer to the time an we can talk about it.

Quick suggestion I thought of a week or two ago:
Someone needs to do a Mini based on Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan.
The Federation characters fit perfectly into MAFIA roles (leader is Kirk, Finder is Spock, Sulu as a Guard, McCoy as a Healer, etc.); and you can have a fairly simple Khan-led cult with the ear-bug things.
Very, very simple.
I finally have an avatar ... and it's better than yours.

Also, my CLUE game is pure and basic. one killer one symp, one gaurd one healer, 8 roleless innos. Can be run in a moments notice. Will be run altless.

Sure that will be fine. It definitely sounds like a game I would rather be watching than participating in. The Ninjas and pirates game had me soooo confused with the mod alts and everyone having vigs....

I second the call for a standard meat and potatos game after this one. Prefer to have a full game as well, I don't recall the last full standard game we had maybe 29?
I'd prefer to play in it if possible, but will run it if no one wants to run one.

My game is next and it's fairly meat and potatoes; only 1 nonstandard role/player.

Can I ask that the Lord of The Rings game be placed for running like first semester next academic year, so october to december this year. Just me and ghost of emira will have busy timetables during the summer and I don't want to displace anyone. Ask the guys who played on modcraft about it and they will tell you, the fun they had. It was a good game.

I'm interested in writing a Twilight-themed mafia game sometime in the not-so-distant future. Having never read the books, but having read plenty of reviews expressing all the humourous stupidities of the series, I think I could really do it justice. I'd need a strong co-mod since I've never modded a game before.
I'd hazard a TMDI 8 minimum, but more likely a 10 or 10+ to do the books the justice they deserve. I'm already thinking 4 factions and several independent roles, with all sorts of crazy abilities being conditional on... stuff. The whole thing would be very silly, satirically, but lots of stuff would be revealed early so it's not a super-guessing game.
I realize there've been a lot of crazy-ass games recently, but the list of the next 20 games only shows 4 being over a TMDI 6 so far, so I figure by the time #21 comes along people won't be too-too sick of overly complex games. Plus it's Twilight, you know you wanna be part of literarily murdering that thing...

Can I recommend either DiBs or Bubba for your co-mod, D'rek?
And also, mine and Grief's mini may be... complex.
oh, and sign me up immediately, I reserve the right to reserve a spot on the sign-ups

If the game is the 'actors' murdering their audience(innos) with the critics as inno power roles... I am so down for helping you mod this game.

that would be suitably awesome, but far too close to reality, so instead almost all the roles will be book characters, most of them from the seris itself. Ex: someone will be Bella, a bipolar, manic depressant girl who falls in love with every person she sees and immediately forgets about anyone else. The goal (though not the winning conditions, per se) for each of the 3 non-inno factions (sparkle-dudes, wolf-boys and a secret 3rd faction) will be to convert Bella to their side, which'll take 3 days or something like that and if any other faction tries to convert her in that time it undoes the 1st factions progress (mad guard skills will be required to succeed!).
The dad will alternate between an inno role and an alcoholic vig (is he an alcoholic? he is now).
Any characters I don't put in will be attributed to Bella's schizophrenia (she is now a schizophrenic). Random deaths may be attributed to young boys inexplicably trying too hard to impress Bella and dying in their attempts.
And I promise kinky lesbian action.

That seems an awesome game.
