It's absolutely great, EXCEPT when they make the fixing of events obvious enough to dispel the illusion that most of it isn't set up. I don't care that it is faked, except when it's done so blatantly, like in Top Ground Gear Force. Other than that, it's funny as hell.

I wasn't so hot on Top Ground Gear Force anyway. It left a bitter aftertaste.

For the most part though I don't mind. Apparently they don't fix the actual challenge results, even though some of the shots used in the videos are blatantly so (for effect I suppose), which is the main thing that'd bug me.

Clarksnon's hate for the old Porsce Carrera is legendary. In an old shew he dished out his own money to buy one to prove to the audience how crap they really were. After 15 minuits of shooting it with hunting rifles, crashing it into an old house, pouring acid all over the engine and finaly droping a grand piano on it, the Porsche engine fired away on the forst go (once again) driving Jeremy into histerics..... I just love watching a grown man cry ehheheheheheheh

Gotta say I loved it during the 24hr race when they painted fake sponsors. On one door was lARSEns biscuits and PENISton was on the other. Totally sophomoric and completely funny.

I missed the first episode of this season, it has one of the funniest god-damned challenges yet, budgety police cars:

part 1 (jump to 4 minutes in)
part 2
part 3
part 4

Sadly the next episode is the last of the new season - ultra-short this time for some reason.

On the other hand it looks set to be potentially one of the best episodes of the show thus far, full stop. Hope so.

Jeremy Clarkson stands for everything I stand against and I have absolutely no interest in cars......yet I still like to watch Top Gear. I either enjoy feeling morally outraged by Clarkson's every utterence, or it's good. I'm not sure which.

Three old gits playing with last century's toys.

I still enjoy it on occasion though.

Hah, just watched the latest one, the foxhunt was amusing :D

Apparently they got complaints from the re-run of their arctic race, because when they had a G&T, they were encouraging drink-driving. God I hate PCness:mad:

I've just gotten into this show and love it. Watching it on youtube, I don't know how many complete episodes they have on there. I've seen the america episode, the 24 hour diesel endurance race, and the self-buy old british car episode. Great stuff.

What are the best episodes I need to try and watch?

Aren't they making an american version of this show? I'm not interested. This show needs dry british humor to work.
