Looks sweet! Ledger looks to have totally transformed the Joker into something wicked.

I'm so looking forward to this. Interesting new scenes in the trailer. It seemed to be missing a bit of the humor though, meh. Perhaps this is an even darker sequel.

Interesting that we're probably going to get the creation of Two Face in this movie aswell.

Yeah, looks like they're doing it well. The two films so far have done well to stick fairly close to the Year One/Long Halloween feel and storylines.

Course, that would mean Robin would be coming back for the third film. Here's hoping they learned their lesson last time!

I've never understood the need for the Robin character. It's just ridiculous that Batman should be carousing around in the city with a kid.

Now if they used the idea of Nightwing instead...

Is anyone else annoyed by the fact that he spelt "Knight" wrong as the title for this thread? :D

Anyways I cannot wait for this film. It will be SWEET! :D

Can't wait for this movie.

I'm so glad they got rid of all the neon lights and other horrible crap that ruined the earlier Batman series.

The guy that illustrated Dark Victory tried to explain/excuse the subtle juxtaposition that is Batman & Robin in his intro to the book. He failed.

Though, tbh, he is the least annoying version of the character in that book.

Anyone know where I can, erm, obtain, the entire animated series? I used to watch that on saturday mornings about 5 years ago. It was great.

Does know one read?
Thats not bloody Two-Face.

This is a concept image that was just leaked, it might not even be Aaron Eckhart in it.

Eckhart has said that all the sketches put on the internet by fans have been a lot more tame than what they actually decided to do, but there still has been no comment or actual pictures of Two-Faces' destroyed face.

It's a concept design using Eckhart's face, so it is going to look like him, but it could be a computer rendering or a sketch.

Looks good. If they don't go with this, they should go with something like it. Before reading Year One and Long Halloween, I always thought Two Face was a pile of shit.

I'd just think of Tommy Lee Jones' ham-athon in Batman Forever, and I'd cringe.

But shit, he's one of the most interesting characters in the Batman world. He's really fucking human. Very tragic what happened to him. They should have removed the Kelly Holmes character from Batman Begins and used Dent instead (hell they actually did the reverse for god's sake, they turned Dent into a woman and a pathetic love interest).

Why does hollywood still think we need a love interest to enjoy a film? Did Reservoir Dogs have a love interest? No. Did Superman Returns have a love interest? Yes. I rest my case.

supposedly the director (Chris Nolan) doesn't like the idea of the Penguin. Says its too far fetched and that he wants to keep the films grounded in reality.

i dunno, i thought the point of the Penguin was that he was an arms dealer. Sounds plausible to me.
meh. Link was dead :(

The riddler and the penguin are two of the most stupid villains... ever.

I'd rather see clayface or poison ivy, imagine what they could do with the cgi now a days.

I'd love to see the Riddler rise in the third film, which will probably deal with Two Face. The Riddler is one villain that can be grounded in reality.

A return by Ra's Al Ghul/ Scarecrow would be awesome... with maybe Talia in tow?? The whole Rachel track is b-oring. The bat needs more interesting femmes. That said, Catwoman would be awesome too of course.... but in many ways Michelle Pfeiffer's turn was the last word on the Cat.

David Cain would make a pretty nasty pseudo real villain too...

The leaked image of Two-Face is a very early concept like the ones they released of the joker during pre-production. It's not fake but just like the early joker pictures they don't really resemble the final design.
