Apparently Barcelona are claiming they've agreed a 25 million pound deal with Arsenal for Adebayor. Now this isn't the first time i've heard this, but I think that's a great deal for the Arse.
It's possible that there might be some sort of combo deal involving Adebayor and Hleb going to Barca for Yaya Toure and money. We'll see i guess.
I just want one of the big clubs to get on with it and sign a striker so that this massive transfer merry-go-round can finally get started.
I'm curious to see how much money Hughes will get at man citeh, and who he'll manage to get. The european race should be really interesting this year.

I hope Citeh dont resort to Blackburn tactics now. Falling back on kicking the shit out of your opponent when you're being outplayed is hardly becoming.

The biggest lie EVAR today.
According to one unmentionable redtop, Arsenal are planning to replace Adebayor with Peter Crouch.
NO. Just NO.

And in other news Arsene Wenger has been replaced by a retarded monkey.
This will never happen: the Arse are a flair team and their kid-touching manager would never hire a donkey like Crouch!

Apparently Keane supported Liverpool as a kid (an Irish Liverpool fan, now there's a shocker) which is helping to fuel the rumours, but I just cant see it. Keane's a scum man - er, I mean Sp*rs, Freudian slip - now, and I cant see him pushing for a move, even if it would give him CL footy. And why the spuds would want Crouch is beyond me.
Looks like Liverpool are going to do another Chelsea this summer and spend ludicrous amounts of money - Rafa must be the most money-wasting manager around. That Dossena for £7mil, Barry for £15mil+, £15mil+Crouch for Keane, and we're only just in July. Surely he has to be sacked if he fails (yet again) to provide another PL title challenge. I know he's done well in the CL, and personally I think he shouldnt go, but I mean how many managers int odays game get let offs like him?

Is there, like, a website that has all football-related news? Being in Canada, I don't hear about ANY of these buys!

Well one of the older sites, though it looks a bit of a mess is www.Football365.com
I usually check out the BBC website though, as they have a nice easy transfer round-up section. http://news.bbc.co.u...all/default.stm
ESPN has a soccer section too, which has a bit more of a worldwide flavour too.
http://soccernet.espn.go.com/
The Guardian newspaper also has a good website and it's football section can be found here http://www.guardian.co.uk/football
My usual choice is the BBC. I'll check ESPN or the Guardian if i hear about something specific on their podcasts that sounds interesting. The Football365 site gives me a headache but can have some great stuff.

I've heard a lot of "oh, he's gonna be good" talk but never really seen him play. Personally, I think if he was all that good (at least good enough to warrant that transfer fee) he'd be playing for Brazil right now, what with Ronaldinho et al having disappointing recent form.
