I am planning to scour the off licences prior to turning up, in the hopes of finding something interesting to bring along. And the customary bottle of Bombay Sapphire for Tommy of course.

Hmph, I see how it is. You'll come for him but not for me, eh? Bastard!
*cries*
I'll see what I can uproot, but it may just be all the ingredients for moranth munitions, just in case we get into some sort of game where a punishment is required.
And of course, the mandatory rasberri absolut.

At scandinavian law parties, the danes bring Gammel Dansk, the norwegians Aquavit, the Swedes Absolute Vodka, the Finns Kosenkorva, and the Icelandic brings Brennevinn.. The general consensus is that Brennevinn is the worst, followed by .. yeah.. lukewarm Aquevitt. Gammel Dansk can't compete

@Morgoth: I fart in the general direction of Aquevitt.
Now I have placed an order for RotCG and TtH at amazon.co.uk using the link on the forum. This was an absolutely silly idea as I have no time to read any of said books before the BBQ! Why oh why must I torment myself like this...*sob*

I've ordered them through the bookstore too.. I need to have read them by the time the bbq takes place. I mean, how else can I drag spoilers for further books out of Bill and Hazel?
Anyways, my birthday is just the week-end before the bbq (5 july).. It would've been kinda fun if it was that saturday, and not the one before. Imagine the pressure I coudl exert

Good news Hetan. The bbq wouldn't have been the same without Mal there.

Hey Rich,
does that mean you're bringing the gin this time? If that's the case I'll bring a bottle of Havana Club rum or something to that effect. You know what, Mojito's could be the order of the day... well couple of hours until I collapse.
By the way Fid, cheers for the offer to bring some decent Calitzdorp South African wine along for Sandra to sample. She will definitely appreciate a taste of home.
Great news Hetan, can't wait to see you both on the 12th.

Great news, Hetan! Looking forward to meet you both in July.
The problem with people who have no vices is that generally you can be pretty sure they're going to have some pretty annoying virtues.

I know what you mean. I myself am a bit sceptic about drinking with a canadian, a swede and a cougar...Somehow it is going to be very interesting!
And I shant be bringing any Gammel Dansk. Just remembered that as I am travelling light customs wont allow med to bring any great amounts of liquid onboard the plane. Stupid terrorists are making life boring.

As far as I remember you were shouting for cock long long before we hit the tequila....

That's because I was surrounded by northerners, in my defence.
'Tis the rightful duty of all southerners to remind said northerners of various slang words for penis, incase you didnt know, Trem. English tradition.
