Owing to the recent quality of polls I thought I would construct one which took my fancy :D

The rules are as follows: You are stuck in a dark dingy cave. Your aim, escape. The year is 1897 and there are no combined forms of forks/spoons/knifes. Just the original modern day models. The spoon/fork is of a strong make/material, your entire hope/escape relies on this instrument.

A few questions in the air, do you take the fork to end your suffering? Or is the forks forky bits too unreliable? Do the spoons bend too much?

Take the fork because i can try to dig out with it using my hands and then when that doesnt work to well I can kill myself. 100 percent of the people for the fork...its a landslide victory for ....me. mwuhahahaha

Spoon. Easier to slowly dig away at whatever is blocking my escape. Plus...if I find any mud pudding...I can eat it easier :D

Guys, I was trying to be serious.

I'd go with the spoon for little more reason than I prefer it as a eating utensil and I wouldn't trust the fork. A snapped fork is more useless than a firework show for the sensory deprieved.

Not for suicide though just because you can shove the snapped off part right in your eyeball.

If your goal is escape, then why would you want the fork to kill yourself?

IT'S DULL, YOU TWIT, IT'LL HURT MORE
Hello, soldiers, look at your mage, now back to me, now back at your mage, now back to me. Sadly, he isn’t me, but if he stopped being an unascended mortal and switched to Sole Spice, he could smell like he’s me. Look down, back up, where are you? You’re in a warren with the High Mage your cadre mage could smell like. What’s in your hand, back at me. I have it, it’s an acorn with two gates to that realm you love. Look again, the acorn is now otataral. Anything is possible when your mage smells like Sole Spice and not a Bole brother. I’m on a quorl.

Who has a sharp fork?

I think the difference between spearing yourself through the eye with a spoon or fork into your brain matter doesn't make much of a difference.

But alas. I choose spoon. Easier to scoop out the eye to get to the brains.

Hmm, possibly the same type of spoon zombies use.
